Excellent, must do - Definitely a must do trip, it was a packed, full ok day with no dull moments or boredom. The tour guide was exceptional. The groups were small enough to enjoy ourselves without having so many people around

Daintree Rainforest - Very enjoyable, the guide is very professional, explaines everything very well and shows a lot of different things in the Daintree. Although there was some bad weather, it was still a very enjoyable experience. We were able to see cassowaries and even crocodiles. The ice-cream is really good there, so is lunch.

Money well spent! This tour is phenomenal. - This was a phenomenal experience. Perfect for a day trip. Andy was a knowledgeable tour guide. He patiently answered everyone's questions. His presentation was clear and easy to understand. Tim was our River Cruise boat driver. He, too, was friendly and full of information. There were many stops throughout the day. Plenty of time to stretch our legs and see quite a few things that we might not have seen if we chose to tour this area on our own. Lunch was delicious and filling, and they catered to our dietary needs. Ice cream at the end of the trip was tasty and unusual. Overall this tour is money well spent.

Amazing experience on the “Kookaburra” - The tour was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. We had a great lunch, and we were able to see all the local wildlife, including flying foxes and crocodiles. On top of that, we even got the chance to swim in the rainforest, which was an unforgettable experience.
We travelled on the “Kookaburra” bus, which was very comfortable, and our guide was a very friendly and knowledgeable man. He gave us plenty of useful recommendations for safe routes and hiking around Australia and shared interesting information about the local wildlife, Australia in general, and the Cairns area.
I would definitely do it again without hesitation — a perfect 10!

Knowledgeable tour guide - Our driver AJ was friendly, very knowledgeable, and funny. He really tried to find a cassowary. There were some hiccups (tree branch broke windows and the ferry broke down), but he was organized and handled them well. The snack and ice cream were good, but the lunch was not so great.

The best day out - We had a wonderful day out with James we felt very safe and looked after. He gave us a grand tour of his backyard including a visit to see wild wallabies living on an old polo pitch eating the grass seeds we saw two boxing playfully. Daintree was gorgeous seeing the crocodiles swimming very gracefully along and understanding more about them. We witnessed a laced monitor lizard rooting out bird eggs we saw a peppermint stick insect and much much more like lichen spiders hidden in tree bark. The ice creams and lunch were fabulous especially as I'm Dairy intolerant and GF they catered for me I'm chuffed.

The rainforest was... - The rainforest was amazing and so many interesting plants and trees to learn about. The lunch spot was gorgeous in the middle of the forest and it was delicious. It was so good to try some new local fruit icecreams and they were so good! Our guide went above and beyond and stopped at so many cool places along the journey.

Fantastic Daintree Experience with Lisa! - We had an incredible day on our Daintree tour with Lisa as our guide. From the moment we boarded the bus, she was welcoming, friendly and full of knowledge about the area. She looked after everyone so well and made the whole group feel comfortable.
Lisa kept us right on schedule without ever making the day feel rushed. Her commentary was the perfect amount—interesting and informative, but never too much. The bus was also extremely comfortable, and the air-conditioning was excellent (which was truly essential in the tropical heat!).
Thanks to Lisa and the smooth experience, I would absolutely book with Tropic Wings again for future Cairns trips. Highly recommend this tour and especially Lisa!

Long day but we liked it. - This was a very interesting tour of the Rainforest. Graeme was our guide. He was very informative and interesting. You should know the drive is approximately 2 hours each direction and you are in a van that holds about 30 people. Beautiful coastal drive and scenic lookouts, too.

Beautiful place but bad service - It is beautiful rainforset and loved the whole experience but was very disappointed with local tour billy tea rainforset safari . First of all they told us to wait at one address and never came there so after waiting 15 minutes we call that company and operator said driver is waiting on other side. So we walked on different road where driver was waiting and he gave us a look and gesture as what's wrong with us. Didn't even greet us nor saying sorry for waiting on wrong place infect made us feel like we were wrong.
Secondly he was the worst driver, gave us really bumpy ride and all of us felt like we are going to throw up. On the first stop two of our people in our party got sick and was in the bathroom so they had to wait extra 6 minutes and he again giving us a look as what's wrong with us and why are we delaying. No sympathy of us getting sick. He still never said hello to us nor made any connections with us. BTW his name was Daniel. After that we were so afraid so everywhere we got off, we were the first one to get on the bus.
Besides the very bad experience with the tour guide. Place is gorgeous and must visit. Hope you can get a better driver and service. We would like it if viator gives us some compensation for this service and getting sick with really bumpy drive. We all are sick from the trip and had to take meds.
