Great day & experience. Unwanted extra fees - Greta day our and amazing sights on the reef. This was one of our highlights of an entire Australia trip and is highly recommended. My one complaint is that you need to ay for everything over and above the ticket outside of your lunch. Soft drinks, snacks, even a locker for valuables (this one was most frustrating) and a guided snorkel tour along with any photos. It just felt like we had to pay additional fees for anything

Wonderful chance to see the Great Barrier up close - A wonderful day out, with so much to see and do and enjoy for every member of the family. The boat ride out and back from the reef was very relaxing. The glass bottom boat ride was also very enjoyable. We had a lovely lunch sitting on the pontoon. We loved snorkelling and were lucky enough to see the sea turtles up close as well as all the other colourful fish and coral. We will going back to Cairns in the future and will redo this amazing day on our next trip. So much still to see and do and experience.

The Great Barrier Reef! - This tour took us by boat to Moore Reef. The company has a pontoon boat in this area. We spent 4 hours on the reef. We did not go snorkeling, but the glass-bottom boat tour was fantastic. We saw giant clams, and beautiful coral formations and fish. They had a submersible craft as well, but on the day we went it was very disappointing. We saw almost nothing and boiled in the heat for 20 minutes. They have an observatory area as well. This was very good, but hot. A good buffet lunch was served. Overall, a great experience.

Very good with a few caveats - I gave this a very good rating because the crew was diligent about counting us before and after the water activities, they were honest about the water conditions (and recommended dramamine for the boat ride), they were always helpful, the lunch offerings were excellent, the glass bottom boat marine life that we saw was well described by the staff member, and the equipment for snorkeling: stinger suits, mask, snorkel and flippers were very good. The Moore Reef is beautiful and has many corals and fish. BUT I didn’t like snorkeling with so many people! The boat holds 200 and it seemed like 100 were in the water. This made getting into the water and out of it somewhat unpleasant and required patience. Also you may be kicked by someone when snorkeling. I was. And it takes over an hour to arrive at the reef.

Great Day Out! - We had a great day out today, Sunlover were super organised and made it easy to get tickets and board. The seas were a bit choppy today, but have to say the way the crew handled this was amazing. Special mention to Chelsea who was so attentive and a very caring person. Despite all that she was doing to help many people all at the same time - she kept a smile on her face, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sunlover and Chelsea..

This is one of the few... - This is one of the few ways for people to see the reef; if you’re an experienced scuba diver, you might try a different tour. This is a very large group of people, the instructions over the loudspeakers were barely audible over the noise of most people not paying attention, and I suspect many of the guests didn’t understand English anyway. As a result, the experience on the platform was quite chaotic trying to collect and don equipment, and return it afterwards. The area of reef we were allowed to swim was fairly restricted. That being said, the reef was in surprisingly good shape, with numerous fish.

Be prepared for crowds - It was an overcrowded and unpleasant experience being crammed with 300 other people on the pontoon. That number of people on a single pontoon meant mad rushes for everything - whether stinger suits, masks or the buffet lunch. The toilets on board were not too clean at the start of the excursion and positively disgusting by the end. There were signs of lack of maintenance visible everywhere, from the thick algae on the underwater glass viewing windows to the broken toilet door locks.

Awful - The worst cruise I’ve ever been on. The staff were unfriendly and rushed, mothers were spoken to rudely because their children were walking around, and one staff member even tried to speak badly to me, almost ruining an already expensive day. Save yourself the trouble and choose something much better.
