A perfectly delicious afternoon in Tuscany - This is a very informative and comprehensive class. It is very well organized and you will leave being able to prepare these dishes at home. The food was delicious and the wine pairings superb. The setting is so beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of the experience.

The Highlight Of Our Honeymoon! - I couldn’t recommend this cooking class enough! Giacomo and his wife Cristiana were so friendly and welcomed us into their home with open arms. Giacomo is a magnificent chef and sommelier - the food he produced (and taught us to produce) was exceptional and the meal we enjoyed at the end was only made better by the superb wine pairings. I can honestly say this is the best meal I have ever had. Giacomo helped guide us through the preparation of the dishes with expertise and shared the wisdom his grandmother had passed on, as well as his learnings along the way. Please do not let this experience pass you by - you won’t regret it!

Remarkable in every way!... - Remarkable in every way! The Chef patiently explained his philosophy of cooking using simple ingredients to highlight the food we prepared and ate. The history of the place goes back several centuries and it’s evident in the pride he shows in his craft. Fantastic experience and absolutely worth the time and money.

Highlight of our Tuscany trip - We had an amazing experience! Giacomo is a great teacher, he really knows his skill. He tells you about his history, how he learned to cook, and very usefull information on how to select the right products for the dishes. I loved their philosophy on how to create simple but amazing dishes by using the best quality products and how to recognize good quality products. We did the 5 course dinner, with local appatiser, fluffy gnocchi, surprising pappardelle, chianina beef and tiramisu. All paired with local wines. Great mix of cooking on your own and watching and learning from the chef. I can't recommend it enough. Highlight of our trip!

A wealth of knowledge and experience that makes it worth every penny! - One of our favorite things we did in Italy!! This class was more than just learning how to make pasta! Giacomo & Cristiana taught us tips and techniques passed down from generation to generation, shared information about how to find the best quality ingredients, and walked us through every step of the process of making an incredible 5-course meal we could provide for our own family, including how to pair wines with each course. They took photos of us during the class and shared those and the recipes with us at the end. It was a small class (6 people), so there was plenty of individual attention and help along the way. I HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone who plans to spend time in Tuscany! Montepulciano was also one of our favorite small towns in Tuscany!

Great way to spend some time in Montepulciano. - Had an amazing experience yesterday with Giacomo at Le Caggiole. Giacomo is a skilled teacher who gives precise instructions on how to prepare typical Tuscan recipes. He has an excellent cooking philosophy and is passionate about his food (which is delicious!). The pappardelle and gnocchi turned out excellent and I came away with a great understanding of how to produce them myself. Giacomo provided detailed recipes to take with me. Overall I considered it an excellent value and a great experience. I would highly recommend his class if you are near Montepulciano!

Best experience of our trip - What an unforgettable experience! This five-course cooking class at the agriturismo was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality by the wonderful husband and wife team who run this charming countryside gem. The class itself was a perfect blend of hands-on learning and delicious indulgence. We made the softest, most pillowy gnocchi I’ve ever tasted, and the fresh pappardelle was a joy to roll and even more incredible to eat. The real showstopper, though, was the tiramisu—light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Every dish we prepared was rooted in tradition and full of soul, made all the more special by the couple’s passion for food and teaching. Their warmth, humor, and deep love for their land and cuisine created an atmosphere that felt like spending an evening with old friends. I cannot recommend this experience enough. If you’re looking for an authentic, delicious, and heartwarming taste of Italy, look no further!

Amazing Experience at Le Caggiole - My wife and I and two friends took the cooking class in July, 2024. The class takes place on Giacomo's personal family farm. It is a beautiful setting for learning to cook Italian food. Giacomo and his wife Cristiana are superb hosts. Only the very best ingredients are used during the class and the care in which Giacomo explains the techniques and the history behind them is truly special. We felt very taken care of and we still use the recipes today that we learned during our class. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great activity in Italy to take a class and enjoy a day at Le Caggiole.

One of Tuscany’s highlights - A masterclass in pasta making and knowing which ingredients to use. Made it easy to know I can replicate the amazing meal when I get back to the states. It was truly a highlight of our stay in Italy (including all the sights in the major cities) Giacamo is passionate about what he does and a true chef in every sense of the word

Cooking Class for the serous cook - we recently attended a cooking class in the picturesque landscape of Tuscany, and it was certainly an experience that we won't forget. The beautiful property set the perfect backdrop for a culinary adventure, with stunning views of rolling hills that made us feel like we were in a postcard. The instructor was undeniably professional and knowledgeable, showcasing a range of cooking techniques that were impressive. However, I must admit that the class might have been a bit advanced for our technical expertise. At times. One aspect to consider is the instructor’s strict demeanor. He communicated his expectations clearly from the outset, emphasizing punctuality and even mentioning he had plans later that afternoon and if we showed up late we would be considered a no show.—an indication of his no-nonsense approach. While I appreciate professionalism, I found it somewhat stifling at times. There were moments where he seemed frustrated with my attempts, which led to a somewhat tense atmosphere. It felt like we were there to meet a high standard rather than to enjoy ourselves. If you’re seeking a serious and structured cooking class with an expert who takes his craft very seriously, this class would likely suit you well. However, if you’re hoping for a lighthearted experience filled with laughter and camaraderie, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, the beautiful setting and quality of instruction were noteworthy, but the intensity of the experience made it less enjoyable for my group and me.
