Friendly guide, good value tour - Our guide, Fernando, was very friendly and informative, and gave the tour in Spanish and English. Stops on the tour included scenic parts of the gorge, which were spectacular, and we were given ample time to walk around the town of Cafayate. The winery tour was fun, although this part was in Spanish only. Overall, well worth the money.

Best tour from Salta! - Amazing experience! Best tour we had in Salta, highly recommended! Driver Alexandra and guide Cezar were the best! The winery had delicious wine, and although the tour in winery was in Spanish, Cezar immediately stepped in and translated everything. There were so many beautiful breathtaking stops on the way to Cafayate, honestly the long road because of that was not tiring at all and very enjoyable. So worth the money! Bus was comfortable, for max 15 people, with A/C

Lovely day.It was worth it if you don't want to hire a car. - It was a lovely day. The tour was rather lengthy, a total of 12 hours. We enjoyed the many scenic stops and viewpoints in the canyon. However, the wine tasting lacked an English-speaking guide, only offering Spanish, which was somewhat frustrating as we couldn't understand anything. It was a great value for the price. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Good viens point - The trip to quebrada las conchas was great, nice spot.
Regarding the "wine" , it would be great if the tour propose an option with good quality wine for an additional price it would make the trip better

Good trip! - The positive points were that the guide Fernando was extremely friendly and attentive, explaining the tour very well.
We passed by cool places like the Garganta Del Diablo, Anfiteatro, 3 Cruces, a winemaker and the city of Cafajate.
The downsides were: the Van is a little tight and uncomfortable by the ride time, my husband who is big suffered a lot in this matter (before the tires were bald).
If the idea is to know the region spending little is a good alternative go for excursion. But, if the intention is to know several wineries (which was my expectation) rent a car and sleep in the city of Cafajate or hire a private driver.

Dissapointed - Unless you speak Spanish do not select this tour. Not all of the tour will be in something other than Spanish. Recommend using another app or service vice Viator.

Good Agency, bad guide - This negative review is not so much the company Tiamar as the guide that accompanied us in what is supposed to be the most beautiful excursion in the area.
a good guide is everything!!!
Bethlehem, the guide... the margin to pick you up at the hotel is 45 minutes. she called me at almost 7.45... I told her that I wanted to complain about this way of organizing, that it is logical to make a plan the day before, as other guides do, so that you only wait 5 or 10 minutes. She spoke x above me, I had to tell her to listen to me. "Ma'am, I get up at 5.30 for work and if you want to complain, do it to the agency... plus if you don't want me to pick you up, tell me and I WON'T go looking for you"... My problem is not what time she gets up xq is her job. I don't even have to consent to being talked to like that, let alone tell you not to come looking for me.
When he arrived and did not show up, I asked his name and he answered me but in a nuisance raising his eyebrows and with zero cordiality... nor told me where I could sit or absolutely nothing, as other guides usually do.
He explained the route that will be done with the stops, period. Professionalism shines through its absence. You can tell the league when a guide sticks to his script and tells what is essential or what he enjoys transmitting his knowledge and makes you enjoy. He spoke the strictly essential.
He treated me rather indifferently, vamo, who did not treat me at all
They told me how many geological formations you would see, more than 10, with it about 4 or 5 because he said they forget where they are. The 3 crosses I didn't even see lol
Painful excursion thanks to the unprofessionalism and lack of desire of this person.
People who leave delighted with this type of guides are due to the fact that they probably have not matched with guides with great professionalism and knowledge, apart from the desire to teach, entertain, even amuse their clients.
Sergio is a sign of this, I only have words of thanks for him, he made the excursion to Cachi a great day and did not stop talking in the almost 12 hours, telling stories, curiosities, beyond what is strictly necessary
