Luxe treat before hitting the Gibb - It was beautiful watching the sun set out on the water after a fun afternoon sipping cocktails – perfect way to kickstart our trip. Friendly crew (and easy communication with the team for pick up), yummy snacks, great vibe!

Relaxing way to end the day - Well organised from pick up at hotel to boarding boat. Beautiful slow relaxing sail around the cable beach shoreline. Finished off with time to sit, watch and enjoy the sunset. Crew friendly and booze and food available

A fun sunset boat trip aboard the Ballena, run by three amazing ladies. Macie, Tess and Jess - Macie was amazing with her text updates and punctual pick-ups. Then getting us aboard via the tender. Tess and Jess met us the complimentary drink was first thing on their agenda and we set sail. They kept us informed throughout the trip where we were going and why. Once out in the clear it was boom net swimming, which was an absolute blast. The canapés were of good quality, it’s just that I don’t care for fried foods or sushi. Others might like them more. There was a good selection of drinks for sale. And then the drive back in for the sunset was very peaceful. A great end to the afternoon. Thank you ladies!

Lovely and Relaxing Sunset Cruise. - Communication via email and text from the tour operator was good. Pick-up and transfer were efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The boat is well appointed. The cruise around was leisurely and relaxing. I would recommend this cruise.

Disappointed that the boat main sail is in need of maintenance - Booked this particular tour to have the sailboat experience at sunset. Unfortunately once we boarded we were advised that the main sail was broken and awaiting parts which are expensive. If we had been advised of this before the tour commenced we may have made an alternative booking with another company that gave a commentary onboard and allowed BYO. Good tour if you just want to see the sunset, buy drinks from the bar and eat canapes.

Pleasant without being great - While it is advertised as 3.5hr that is the time from pickup to dropoff. The actual cruising was around 2hr and the sail did not go up at all so we simply motored down the coast a little and back. The time on board was really nice but there was no actual experience of sailing.

Average motor cruise - Overall we're giving it 3 stars. A few disappointing things to note. - 36 ppl max was too many ppl and not enough seats - getting to the tender at high tide required walking over slippery rocks (one lady slipped and cut her toe) - there was no mention of where we going on the cruise - we ended up on roebuck bay side where the cargo ships are (not cable beach). It was a cruise to nowhere - there was cloud and smoke when we went and the sunset was actually over the land behind the point so we never got to see it. If we'd gone around the point we would seen an amazing red sunset - we didn't actually sail... we motored along - we felt it was about half hr too long Good things: - some ppl went on the netting behind the boat (that you see in the marketing pics) - the food overall was really good. Lots of GF - service was really good - got picked up by mini bus from hotel so that was good Overall, the cruise was ok but overall I think the marketing could be improved to include more warnings about possibly walking on rocks in high tide. There is an element of high risk to entering and exiting the tender. Thank you. I hope this constructive feedback is taken on board.

Waste of money - absolute rubbish - My expectations were obviously too high, great for families with kids as the boom net was a winner for kids, spent the entire time cruising up & down Roebuck bay for the whole trip and if the boat wasn’t stationary it was going about 3knots an hour, Roebuck bay nothing great with boats & the industrial dock area. Sunset was looking at a mound of dirt (hill) with cars everywhere and did t see the sun setting over the ocean. They should have gone out into the sea and the views would have been great. The pick up from the hotel to the boat was a crappy old mini bus which I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t get a road worthy come the 12 months.
