Super hike with Rafael! - We walked around 2 days with Oasis Palmera Travel to Colca Canyon. Our guide Rafael was amazing; really passionate, he introduced us to lots of different fruits and plants. He also took the time to explain the history of the region and tell us various anecdotes. The accommodation was comfortable, the food super good and the van ride safe. I recommend 100%

Highly recommend - The hike was an amazing experience and highly recommended. The scenery is stunning and the tour is very well organized. I want to highlight especially our guide, very professional, who was always very attentive to the group, explaining about the area, nature and local culture; you can see that he loves his work and that made the experience even better; also, he made sure that we were all well during the tour. It is certainly a worthwhile experience if you visit the area. Everything was 1000/10.

Good tour with guide Carlos :-) - I did the 2 day hike in the Colca-Cañon with the guide Carlos. Everything worked out well when organizing the tour and food and accommodation were good ! Since we did the tour in the off-season everything was relatively empty, which was very nice. I would especially like to praise our guide Carlos, who has given us good information, clearly communicated the plans and times. You noticed that the canon and nature is really his passion and even picked up garbage and took it with him when he saw something. Thanks Carlos!

Awesome trek - Amazing experience! Rafa was an incredible guide and shared interesting facts about the wildlife and Peru as well as personal anecdotes throughout the tour. The first day was long but not too strenuous, and the hike back up was pretty difficult, but so worth it for the experience and views of the canyon! Would highly recommend

Best 2-day trek ever - This was one of the best experiences of my life. A true physical challenge and worth every step. Our guide, Alex, was really cool and shared a lot of fascinating information about mother earth as well as the culture and people in this region. The food was so fresh and they had great options for me as a vegetarian. The trek involved a 3 hour descend, followed by lunch in a little village, followed by another 2-3 hour walk (mixed up, down, flat and through really nice villages) to the palmeras oasis. The room was very comfortable and the area was stunningly beautiful. The next day we left around 4:50am and hiked up for a little under 3 hours. This was the hardest part for me, but I felt amazing afterward. I can't describe how breathtaking the views were all along the trek. Note: we had breakfast after the climb, so bring a couple of snacks to have before/during the walk up. We then went to hotsprings which felt amazing on our muscles. Then we went to a buffet lunch which was sooooo good and was an extra ~40soles. We also got to see some wild guanacos and vacunas, along with llamas and alpacas. 11/10 highly recommend this tour and Alex as a guide!

Condors, Canyons and Incredible Landscapes - I had an absolutely amazing experience on the Colca Canyon trek! The landscapes were truly breathtaking – every turn offered stunning views of the canyon, dramatic cliffs, and beautiful valleys. It’s hard to describe how impressive it feels to stand there and take it all in. We were also lucky enough to see several condors soaring above us, which was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The food was simple but very tasty and always appreciated after long hiking days. It felt fresh, nourishing, and exactly what we needed. I was also very positively surprised by the accommodation. Considering the remote location, the sleeping place was much more comfortable than expected and had a really charming atmosphere. A special thank you to our guide, Toni (Luigi)! He was fantastic throughout the entire trek. He was incredibly motivated, energetic, and clearly passionate about what he does. You could tell that he genuinely enjoys guiding and sharing his knowledge about the region. He made sure everyone felt safe and supported, kept a great group spirit, and always had a positive attitude — even during the tougher uphill sections. His enthusiasm and encouragement really made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this trek to anyone visiting the area — it’s challenging but absolutely worth it!

Not just a hike - My partner and I highly recommend this fantastic experience. Our tour guide Alex was highly organized, knowledgeable, professional and caring. The two days were packed with activity aside from the strenuous hike through the breathtaking Colca canyon. The overnight accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts were welcoming. This was not just a hike but a two day experience.
