Our skillful guides will lead you to the many jewels of our vast tenure. Splash through creeks and power over rugged west coast terrain, while watching for local wildlife and breath taking views in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Sea to Sky region.
What to expect?
- Check in with our team at Basecamp
- Meet your guide and get set up with your gear
- Safety and Demo session before your tour begins
- On tour: Drive over rugged terrain, splash through puddles, visit breath taking view points and take photos with your crew
- Tour ends back at basecamp and you’re ready for your next adventure!
- Operates in all weather conditions.
- Must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals).
- Children must be a minimum of 6 years old, 4 feet tall and fit into an XXS helmet.
- Drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver’s license (no learner’s permits).
- Tour Duration (depends on size and efficiency of group)
- Comfortable clothing for the day including a warm shirt or outer layer that will get dirty.
- DOT certified full-face helmet must be worn.

- Meeting point is where your activity takes place at Basecamp on Cougar Mountain: Sixteen Mile Creek Forest Service Road, Whistler BC
- Drive and park to Basecamp or take our complimentary shuttle roundtrip from Gateway Loop Whistler Village.

Awesome! - Super fun experience, highly recommend for adventure seekers! Small group size and a fun tour guide that let us take the side-by-side vehicles and see what they could do. We were surprised at how fast we could go and the freedom we had to drive to have fun!

Side by Side Tour - Alyce took us out on our side by side tour. Such a fun activity to do. Definitely didn’t expect it to be as fast paced as it was but it was great! Took three stops, two by the lake and one overlooking everything. We toured at 4:30 so it was the perfect time. Alyce was so kind and wonderful! She offered us hand warmers and even offered her own gloves and beanie to us because she noticed our kid was cold!

Cougar Mountain is a great option. My wife and I love a good adventure, and this tour exceeded all our expectations. But the real star of the show was our guide, Alyce!
From the get-go, she radiated confidence and professionalism, making us feel completely safe while still promising a wild ride. We were led through rugged, technical trails with an expert hand, navigating muddy creeks and rocky climbs with ease. It was clear she knows these mountains like the back of her hand, and her passion for the wilderness was infectious. Alyce didn't just point out the sights; she shared fascinating facts about the local history and ecosystem, making the experience both exhilarating and informative.
The view from the top was absolutely stunning. Alyce was supportive, encouraging, and pushed us just enough to feel accomplished without ever feeling out of our depth. For two adventurous people looking for an unforgettable experience, having a guide who was so powerful and knowledgeable made the entire day even more inspiring.
Thank you for an incredible day. This was a tour we'll be talking about for years!

Fantastic adrenaline rush - We LOVED our adventure today! Who wouldn’t enjoy an adrenaline rush of speeding through the mountain paths on a side by side? Incredible. Not to mention, Alyce made our experience extra memorable by being a perfect guide. We are so thankful we were paired with her. She was knowledgeable, extremely personable, fun and just genuinely a fantastic person. Alyce made our day absolutely perfect and we can’t wait for our next adventure in Whistler.

FREAKING EPIC!!!! - ALYCE WAS AN AMAZING GUIDE and honestly that made all the difference. This was the first time we have ever done this and not one single part of it sucked. Beautiful weather, perfect little splashes along the way to make it one for the books during our short week out in British Columbia. Quite literally one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life. We will definitely be back for more next year (then probably every year after) - thank you so much for this incredible experience, Alyce and The Adventure Group!!! PS the hot chocolate and the handwarmers and all of the amazing little things that you did for us along the way, that kindness will never go unnoticed. Thank you!!!
