Watch out for the flies!! - My expectations were definitely different, the food leaves a lot to be desired and the number of flies was unbearable

WITHOUT ARRIVING TO BARCEL BAVARO PALACE NO GOOD EXPERIENCE - Without having yet arrived on my vacation to the Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana, I already had my first bad experience today, November 28. We are a group of 15 people as a family who will arrive tomorrow, November 29. For a family couple from Colombia who are my guests, I paid them the reservation for 50%, they will arrive Nov 29 at noon but we will only arrive until 8:00 PM. The hotel sent a message to my guests telling them that upon arrival they must present the credit card with which the reservation was made in order to access check-in, otherwise they will cancel the reservation and return the money to me. Today Nov 28 I called and talked to like 4 people to pay the balance and no one solves anything, they just say that these are the hotel's rules and that you can only access registration when the Credit Card with which the reservation was made is presented. Can you imagine that for some reason we cannot arrive? Nobody wanted to transfer my call to a superior to find a solution. In the end they hung up on me without any solution. If anyone reads this message and can help me so that my guests feel well treated and do not have to sit in the lobby until I arrive so they can see my credit card and be able to pay the remaining balance.
