The journey begins at 6 am, departing from Kigali to the Huye Coffee Washing Station. After a brief introduction, the tour starts with a visit to the farm to learn about the plantation and harvesting processes. The tour continues to the washing and drying station to understand the various stages leading up to roasting and the creation of consumable products. The experience culminates at a traditional roasting and tasting location. The coffee experience lasts until lunchtime, after which the group heads to a restaurant.
On the return trip to Kigali, there is a brief stop in Nyanza to gain insight into the lifestyle of the King of Rwanda. Visitors explore the last palace and see the traditional cows, known as Inyambo. The journey concludes with an afternoon drive back to Kigali, arriving around 6 pm.
