- Bupyeong Kkangtong Market - Situated in Jung-gu, Busan, Bupyeong Kangtong Market is a prominent market in Busan, alongside Gukje Market and Jagalchi Market. Historically, markets were held in the Bupyeong-dong area, but following the Ganghwa Island Treaty in 1876, Japanese residents began to settle and shop here, earning it the name ‘Korean-Japanese Market’. In 1915, it was officially designated as a public market by the Japanese and renamed ‘Bupyeongjeong Market’. After liberation, it became ‘Bupyeong Market’, and US military supplies started being imported and sold here. Notably, a significant amount of US military canned food was available, leading to its nickname “Bupyeong Can Market”, which remains in use today.
This market is particularly renowned for its culinary offerings, with bibim glass noodles and tofu pocket casserole being the standout dishes.
- Jagalchi Market - It is believed that the name Jagalchi Market originated because it was located on a gravel field after the Korean War. The word cheo (處), meaning a gravel field and place, was pronounced as chi in the Gyeongsang dialect, thus becoming Jagalchi. Visitors can discover a wide variety of fish here.
- Gukje Market - The history of Busan International Market began with the trade of goods left by Japanese returning to Japan after liberation and items brought by compatriots returning from abroad. Initially known as Dottegi Market, it was renamed Jayu Market in 1948 after a building was constructed. Visitors can explore a vast array of Korean traditional snacks, dishes, clothing, shoes, and numerous imported goods.
- Amidong Tombstone Culture Village - Visitors can walk along the tombstone road and enjoy panoramic views of Busan from the mountain area.

Superb nice organizing - Our Korea trip was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The MJ and organization team did an outstanding job organizing every detail—transportation, accommodation, and daily activities were all smooth and well-coordinated. The group was wonderful, and their participation made the trip even more enjoyable. A special thanks to MJ, whose support, guidance, and attentiveness truly elevated the whole experience. I highly recommend this trip and sincerely appreciate everyone involved.

Wonderful experience. - MJ was an extremely helpful, pleasant & knowledgeable guide. Nothing was an issue for her, she adapted our agenda to suit inclement weather, brought us to non- tourist & local places, always with a smile & with our interests in mind.

Awesome Busan Tour with MJ - Im back to Busan for more with MJ. This is my 4th tour with her! Really love MJ's vibe, and knowledge of Busan and Korea. She took the time to explain about each place we visited, and answer questions as well. She took us to a beautiful area in busan to eat. Food was really delicious as always!
I'd definitely recommend touring with MJ. And of course I'll be back again on MJ's tour. Thank you so much MJ!!

Wonderful Busan In A Day - A wonderful private tour with our fabulous guide Vivian in Busan. Our day included seeing a beautiful Temple, a visit to a beach, a shopping centre, the famous Gamcheon, markets and a delicious lunch where we enjoyed South Korean food.

Busan is an amazing experience and well worth investing in a private tour - Wonderful day in Busan. Thank you to Vivian for showing us Busan. We enjoyed the beautiful Temple, the interesting markets and seeing Gamcheon. We loved the restaurant you suggested so that we could try South Korean cuisine. It was wonderful to be able to tailor the itinerary to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see.

The. Best - MJ gave us the best day of our 18 day trip in Japan and korea. She was full of interesting information and she was fun to be with. She was responsive to our special interests and took good care of us. We enjoyed e very minute.

Wonderful! - Whether this is your first visit to Busan, or you have been to this wonderful city before, MJ will put together an itinerary that will make you miss it so much once you leave! She is well-versed in all the sites we visited and flexible with the schedule to maximize the brief time we had there. Our driver, Mr. Moon, was also the Best! Very helpful, kind and considerate towards all of us! Both MJ and Mr. Moon had no hesitation to do what was best for our group. Highly Recommended!
