• Haedong Yonggungsa Temple - The temple’s main sanctuary was meticulously reconstructed in 1970, with a focus on preserving the traditional colors used in such structures. To the right, within a cave, lies a distinctively designed Buddhist sanctum, while directly in front of the main sanctuary stands a three-story pagoda adorned with four lions. These lions represent joy, anger, sadness, and happiness. Other notable features of the temple include the 108 steps and stone lanterns that embellish the rocky terrain. Descending the 108 steps, visitors will be enchanted by the temple’s beauty. Halfway down, one can pause to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves and witness the breathtaking sunrise.
• Haeundae Beach - Haeundae Beach is renowned as Busan’s most famous beach. The beach features a stretch of white sand approximately 1.5 kilometers long, spanning a width of 30 to 50 meters, creating a stunning coastline before a shallow bay, ideal for swimming.
• Oryukdo Skywalk - Iron columns have been installed over a 35-meter-high coastal cliff, supporting a 15-meter glass bridge made of 24 glass plates, shaped like a horse’s hoof. The glass floor consists of four layers of 12-millimeter glass panels coated with a bulletproof film, totaling a thickness of 55.49 millimeters, ensuring the structure’s safety.
