• Songdo Skywalk - This skywalk has gained attention as Korea’s first of its kind, featuring a long, winding path. Currently, the initial section is installed, measuring 104 meters, encircling Geobukseom Island. Upon completion next February, the Songdo Skywalk will set a new record as Korea’s longest ocean walk, spanning 296 meters in length and 2.3 meters in width.

The skywalk will also include a viewing platform extending into the water, offering visitors breathtaking views of the coastline. Sections of the walkway feature transparent tempered glass flooring, providing clear views of the waters below and creating the sensation of walking on water. Positioned 5.5 to 8 meters above sea level, it is much closer to the sea than the Oryukdo Skywalk, which is 37 meters above the shore along a cliff. Everyone can enjoy the thrilling experience of watching blue waves beneath their feet.

• Busan Gamcheon Culture Village - Gamcheon Culture Village is characterized by houses built in a staircase fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning it the nickname “Machu Picchu of Busan.” The numerous alleys in this community are vibrantly adorned with murals and sculptures created by the residents.

• BIFF Square - Busan’s modern movie district began as just a pair of cinemas built after Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule over 50 years ago. However, significant renovations occurred before the first Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in 1996, and the district was renamed BIFF Square on August 14, 1996.

• Gukje Market - After the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan established stalls to earn a living, marking the beginning of Gukje Market (“gukje” means “international”). Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets, with each alleyway bustling with stalls, connecting to Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets. The market offers a wide variety of goods, making it possible to find almost anything you need.

• Jagalchi Market - Jagalchi Market is Korea’s largest seafood market. After the Korean War, it became established as a fish market. Most fish sellers are women, known as ‘Jagalchi Ajumma,’ with ‘ajumma’ meaning middle-aged or married women.

This market is a symbol of Busan and is renowned nationwide. Visitors can enjoy fresh raw fish right at the market. Even today, women sell mackerel, sea squirts (ascidians), and whale meat on wooden boxes along the road.

• Hwangnyeongsan Mountain - Visitors will be driven to the top.

Hwangnyeongsan Mountain is situated in the heart of Busan. With an altitude of 427 meters, it is the second highest mountain in the Geumnyeon Mountain Range. The mountain is primarily composed of andesite, and the summit is relatively flat. Some areas of the mountain feature exposed bedrocks. (Visitors will be driven to the top.)

• Samgwangsa Temple - Samgwangsa Temple hosts its renowned lantern festival, attracting over a million visitors annually. CNN Travel has also recognized this temple as one of the must-visit spots in Korea. The festival is famous for its diverse array of over 3 million lanterns.
