Embark on a full-day excursion north of Perth to explore Nambung National Park, renowned for the enchanting Pinnacles. The adventure begins with a short visit to Caversham Wildlife Park, where visitors can encounter koalas and wombats and have the opportunity to hand-feed kangaroos. The journey then continues to the coastal fishing village of Cervantes, where guests can relish the coastal views and enjoy a fish and chip lunch, which is included.
Post-lunch, the tour proceeds to Nambung National Park and the Pinnacles. Here, participants can stroll through the Pinnacle Desert and marvel at the surreal, moon-like terrain, adorned with an extensive array of limestone formations—truly a unique experience.
The tour also includes a stop at Lancelin, famous for its towering sand dunes, some of the largest in Western Australia. Guests can climb aboard a 4WD truck for an exhilarating tour of the dunes, with the added thrill of trying sandboarding. This promises to be an unforgettable adventure. The tour concludes with a return to Perth in the early evening.

Along with seeing and... - Along with seeing and walking amongst the fascinating Pinnacles, the animal park, lobster farm and dune experiences add up to making this an incredible day, but the major star of the experience was our driver, stopping along the way to view interesting flora, talking about the local fauna and the lives of the local Aussies and offer pearls of wisdom about the first nation community. All in all, a great intro to WA! Thank you.

Value experience, great staff, wonderful time - Pinnacles Tours is a quality tour company. The itinerary included in the package exceeded our expectations. Logistics, toilet stops and lunch venue were well-thought out. So glad to have taken up this package which supports businesses and smaller towns in WA.

Special mention to our tour guide + driver on Sun 28 Sep 2025 - JAMIE. Jamie is truly excellent. He is polite and professional, takes great care in his work. He took the effort to remember where passengers were from, took down details of where we each would like to be dropped off end of day. Throughout the drive, he spent a lot of time sharing details about WA and places where we passed. For a one-man show, it was really impressive, considering the trip was a long one (we were picked up from 7.30am and dropped off 7pm, with 4 major stops/activities throughout the day). He was tireless, right till the end when it was getting late towards drop-off, he was still the same professional person as he was at 7.30am. Felt very safe dozing off during the long drives between stops as he presented as a reliable driver.
Really appreciate the pride and care with which Jamie carried out his profession, especially it being a Sunday what more. Please convey our deepest thanks to Jamie for such a wonderful job done that all 24 of us had such a great day and safe journeys!

It was a great tour... - It was a great tour experience going to the Pinnacles with our tour guide. She shared with us many interesting things about Perth and the one that interested me the most was the one about the Pinnacles. Overall, we enjoyed the trip. Thank you to Beck! She have been a great and wonderful guide! ☺️

Wonderful and informative day - We were picked up in the city and started our way at the Caversham wildlife park and it felt like we got vip access seeing up close the animals before the park opened to the public, we then drove up to lancillin where we went sand surfing which was amazing!!!! Then we drove up to Cervantes to the lobster shack and the food was delicious, lastly to the pinnacles. Our driver was fabulous and quite educational and you can tell he really loves his job, he was English but knew more about Australia than I do as an Aussie 🤣 he even dropped us directly outside our hotel with our kids, he was very accomodating! The only recommendation I would have is making the pinnacles a bit shorter and the sand surfing a bit longer.

Great Day Out - Fab day, a brilliant mixture of activities outside the city. Coach really comfortable. Driver Lee was excellent, lots of really interesting info on the way. Lunch was great at Lobster Shack, worth upgrading on the day to include Lobster.

It was a full day with... - It was a full day with animal park, lobster processing tour, The Pinnacles and off-roading the sand dunes. I enjoyed it all. Our driver, Lee, was personable, knowledgeable and professional. Damian, our 4x4 driver provided an adventurous tour through the dunes. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day in Australian nature - Very nice day spent completely in the beauties of Australian nature. Very interesting experience at the wildlife park where you can have a direct and unique contact with kangaroos, koalas and wombats! Extraordinary sunset among the pinnacles in the desert. Great lunch at the Australian lobby factory. Very funny sandboarding.
To improve the morning pick-up to hotels , too long , as well as excessive time spent on lunch and to lengthen that spent in the Pinnacles desert .

The highlight of this... - The highlight of this trip was the animals.
This was my first time to see a wombat and a koala. I would have liked more time at the zoo, but I understand there was a big day ahead of us and time was limited.

Great to see more of WA, but tour itself could be improved - The coach driver gave us lots of information, and was very interesting. We didn’t have enough time at the sand boarding despite getting back to Perth an hour early! The 4WD could have gone over bigger dunes. Lunch at Cervantes was disappointing. Despite paying an extra $25, we only got half a crayfish and were seated at the very back of a very empty restaurant so couldn’t see the views. It seemed that the restaurant didn’t really want us there. The pinnacles could have been done on a bus as there wasn’t much to explore. Also we weren’t prepared for the sheer number of flies! The wildlife park was very staged.
