Wow! - As much as I don’t like “zoos,” it was AMAZING to be able to feed and pet kangaroos. We saw a joey peeking out of the pouch! Shuttle was so much better than cruise ship tour (cost and crowds).

amazing place - We had a wonderful time here!! A family’s effort to save thse animals is heart warming..there are fanicier operations but this place seemed to focus on the care of the animals over fancy stuff…it felt real. The enviorment was terrific and the variety of animals make this a must see! All the staff was very pleasant and professional. If you are anywhere close, we would recoment a visit.

My first choice of animal parks. - We went to three animal parks and this one was the best! You were able to go in with the Kangaroos and pet them and feed them and being able to pet a koala bear was $60 which was less than other places. Overall, it was a great park!

Great Venue - What a great venue and a great experience! The animals seem very comfortable in their enclosures with plenty of room and viewing within their natural habitats. Lots of unique species and endangered wildlife. Highly recommended.

Tasmania’s unique animals - Good opportunity to see unique animals of Tasmania. They offer specific animal encounters ($60/person) that need to be scheduled as soon as you arrive. Good variety of birds, Tasmanian devil, kangaroos, wallaby’s. Opportunity to feed the kangaroos but in the afternoon they are pretty full from early tours so not as interested, but you can still get pics with them. Be prepared to walk up hill to see most of the animals.

Very nice. - A lot better than he Sidney Zoo. Got to actually pet the kangaroos.. didn’t like that you had to pay extra to touch the koalas and hold the baby Tasmania devil. Should have been included.

Fun day out to see... - Fun day out to see Australian animals. Small rustic zoo. Bit of a drive but pretty countryside on the way.

Nice excursion but you are on your own - no tour guide. - The wildlife preserve is well done. We enjoyed the excursion and the chance to see Tasmanian Devils. Just be aware that there is no tour guide on the bus or in the preserve. You are on your own once you get on the bus. It would have been nice to hear about the countryside we were traveling through. Also, it’s an hour drive each way with 2 hours in the park.

Wings Wildlife Park - The bus driver/tour guide was excellent - informative and entertaining. The wildlife park was interesting. There were many different types of animals and birds to view. Not all of them were native to Australia, though. Some of the animals were in enclosures which were too small and they appeared stressed. People really enjoyed being able to interact with the kangaroos and wallabies which were not penned or caged.

Feeding Kangaroos - Feeding baby kangaroos was the best but it was a long drive. Nothing else to say for Trip Advisor minimum character count.
