Burabay's beautiful nature - This was a very special day, outside, in contact with Kazakhstan's beautiful nature. I will always remember Kazakhstan for it's great nature. Burabay is a national park about 3 hours outside Astana. It has a very beautiful lake and rocks. After an easy trekking thru the forest, you can enjoy very nice views from above. We had lunch on a traditional restaurant inside the park and did a small boat ride in the lake. On it's way we had the opportunity to observe the steppes that cover most of the country, and we also stopped to visit an interesting open air museum that reconstructs the houses of an old civilization (Botai), that lived in that region about 5.000 years ago. Omar, our guide, is a very nice and friendly guy, our kids loved him. We had an amazing and unforgettable day. Thanks for that!

Awesome tour guide! - From start to finish, the experience was excellent. We were picked up by our guide, Kadyrbek, at our hotel at exactly the agreed upon time. On the way and throughout the tour, we were given a lot of insightful information that helped us to better understand both Burabay and Kazakhstan. The sights we were shown were absolutely amazing and our guide helped us to capture great pictures. He was also really accommodating and helpful in translating things for us, and gave us great food recommendations. Throughout the trip we felt very safe and well taken care of, from being guided through a hike along unfamiliar terrain to being driven back safely through a blizzard. This tour was truly unforgettable!

Grate Tour - We appreciate the Hospitality and service given by our tour operator, no compromise in food, while traveling Full Day excursion, gave us enough time to explore Burabay the sinic place, also our car driver explained our details about the place very well. Cat provided us well maintained and comfortable. THANKS For this Great Time. WE would like to go once again with them in future.

2 days in Astana - We were 2 days in Astana, this guide showed us in quite a short time a great part of Astana and Burabay. We made some stops on the way, visited a museum, had a great authentic lunch. Our guide was very patient with us, we were a group of 13... We all wanted the nicest picture. Great guide and knows all about the city Astana and Kazachstan. The tour was very well organised, well on time performance, and any change we did was taken into consideration to change the tour or add to the tour. Great experience and great guide. Please do not hesitate to book here. Date of experience: November 2025

Beautiful Astana and Burabay in Kazachstan - We had a great trip with our guide Kadyrbek . He showed us so many beautiful places !! We went to Burabay , the city center of Astana, ….. It’s a trip to remember your all live ;-) He explained everything and had a lot of patience. We were in a group of 12 people and everyone was so happy to have him as our guide !! Thank you !!!

Fantastic Tour of Burabay National Park with Fantastic Company and Guides! - This is one of my favorite tours ever by one of my favorite companies ever! I met a few of the company guides and they all seemed great and spoke great english.. It was a full day so make sure to start early. You can arrange the schedule how you want depending on your interests and the weather etc. On my tour we first did a nice short maybe half an hour hike to a beautiful overlook of the lakes. Then we visited a very cool reconstruction of an ancient settlement which lasted about half an hour. Then we had a very nice lunch. Then near the lunch place we also did a beautiful boat trip that maybe lasted half an hour (there is an option at the same place to also do horse riding which I heard was very nice and easy although I dont normally ride horses so I skipped that). There were a lot of trained eagles in the same area too that you could take pics with. And finally the last stop was the best stop, climbing Mount Bolektau for spectacular views, which took maybe an hour total. If you have an extra day In Astana, I cant recommend this tour highly enough if you like the outdoors and fantastic views although make sure the weather is decent. It rained a little bit when I went which was fine but it would be no fun if it was raining alot all day long..

Enjoyable day trip to Burabay national park - Had a great trip to Burabay national park from Astana despite the weather. Guide Leon was engaging and informative, and spoke excellent English. Particularly enjoyed the view of the lakes and horse riding on a forest trail,

Burabay - Nature and culture tour - The tour itself was great and our guide Amir was very kind and talkative. We have learnt many things from him about Kazakh culture during the road. Rvrn he took care to our 2.5 years old boy as his nephew while we were riding a horse. As a couple, we were concerned about having this trip with a little kid but definitely Amir made our trip. We have managed two hikes around 20minutes, a boat trip and horse riding successfully. I would definitely recommend the trip. The Burabay lake and region is very special and you may have once in a lifetime experience.

Leisurely trip to Burabay with Abzal - I had the tour of Burabay with Abzal today and everything went perfectly. We started early from Astana and visited the main sites in the beautiful oasis of Burabay, a 3-hour drive north of the city. It was an amazing last day to my trip to Kazakhstan. Highly recommendeded!
