• Wedding Cake Rock - Embark on a walk along the Royal National Park Coastal Track, where you can marvel at the stunning cliffs and ocean vistas.

Along the way, explore The Cobblers, Balconies, and the Waterrun as you traverse the coastal heathland towards Wedding Cake Rock.

There will be several brief stops to discuss native flora such as banksia, grass trees, and gymea lilies, as well as wildflowers.

During the walk, an overview of the wildlife inhabiting the Royal National Park and its geological features will be provided.

Upon arrival at Wedding Cake Rock, enjoy the breathtaking view of the striking white sandstone set against the azure Pacific Ocean.

• Marley Beach - Consider extending your journey beyond Wedding Cake Rock to visit Marley Beach, one of the most charming and underrated beaches in the Royal National Park.

This beach is often sparsely populated and is framed by expansive coastal heathland. Behind the beach lie large sand dunes and a pristine natural lagoon.

• Wattamolla - Wattamolla, an Aboriginal term meaning “place near falling water,” is a unique destination featuring a waterfall fed by Cootes Creek that cascades into a large lagoon.

The waterfall plunges approximately 10 meters into the lagoon, which then flows to Wattamolla Beach.

During the warmer months, both the lagoon and beach are popular swimming spots. Choose between freshwater or saltwater for a refreshing swim!

This beautiful location is a highlight of the trip.

A short 15-minute walk is also an option. It’s your day, so decide if you’d like to take the walk!

• Bald Hill Lookout - Bald Hill offers a spectacular viewpoint to admire the Illawarra Escarpment and the southern beaches.

The city of Wollongong is visible in the distance, and you can gaze down upon Stanwell Park Beach.

You might also witness the thrilling aerial activities of paragliding and hang gliding as enthusiasts launch themselves from the hill.

• Sea Cliff Bridge - This remarkable cantilevered bridge boasts elegant curves, soaring high above the ocean and well away from the nearby Coalcliff Rockface.
• Symbio Wildlife Park - Symbio Wildlife Park features a koala presentation and hosts numerous kangaroos and wallabies.

The park is also home to echidnas, dingoes, wombats, emus, a cassowary, and Tasmanian devils, along with a variety of Australian birdlife, including the stunning Gouldian Finch.

Two wedge-tailed eagles have an entire enclosure to themselves, while several fascinating non-native animals, such as meerkats, tamarin and marmoset monkeys, red pandas, and two cheetahs, can also be found.

• The Imperial at Clifton - Conclude the day with an optional stop for a coffee or cold beverage at the beautifully restored Imperial at Clifton Hotel. This historic hotel was once in disrepair until a local club acquired it and completed a top-notch renovation. Visitors adore this venue, with its many original features, including numerous fireplaces, timber windows, and architraves.
