This beach is often sparsely populated and is framed by expansive coastal heathland. Behind the beach lie large sand dunes and a pristine natural lagoon.
- Wattamolla - Wattamolla, an Aboriginal term meaning “place near falling water,” is a unique destination featuring a waterfall fed by Cootes Creek that cascades into a large lagoon.
The waterfall plunges approximately 10 meters into the lagoon, which then flows to Wattamolla Beach.
During the warmer months, both the lagoon and beach are popular swimming spots. Choose between freshwater or saltwater for a refreshing swim!

Two wedge-tailed eagles have an entire enclosure to themselves, while several fascinating non-native animals, such as meerkats, tamarin and marmoset monkeys, red pandas, and two cheetahs, can also be found.
