Sarmishsay Gorge - This renowned site in Central Asia boasts over 10,000 petroglyphs, with origins tracing back to the Stone and Bronze Ages. It features depictions of deer and goats in the animal style characteristic of the Scythian tribes’ art circle (early Iron Age, 9th-2nd century BC).

This tour offers a taste of nomadic life and an exploration of the world’s 16th largest desert, Kyzylkum, with an overnight stay in a Yurt camp. During the journey, participants will visit the historic small town of Nurata, located at the base of the Nuratau Mountains, which extend for hundreds of kilometers from Jizzakh and the Barren Steppe to Navoi and the Kyzylkum desert.

Legend has it that the city’s origin and name are derived from the Nur fortress, established by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the Sarmysh-say tract, a renowned site in Central Asia featuring over 10,000 petroglyphs dating back to the Stone and Bronze Ages, depicting deer and goats in the animal style typical of the Scythian tribes’ art circle (early Iron Age IX-II century BC).
