Fabulous Foodie Tour in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo - Raquel was a wonderful host and guide. The food and wine were fabulous. All of our stops were within about a 5 block radius of the neighborhood, Palermo. We started at a wine bar upstairs for Vermut and a charcuterie. Then downstairs for more wine. We then went for Chori, a traditional Argentine sausage sandwich. Next we went to Lena’s for empanadas followed by a fabulous steak dinner with salad, french fries and fresh hot bread. The food was fabulous. Our last stop was gelato. Lots of flavors to choose from. I highly recommend this foodie tour. Lots of food and wine. Rachel was wonderful and full of lots of Argentine info. The neighborhood was great and her choices of restaurants were awesome. *****

Wonderful guide - Lourdes was a wonderful guide with lots of knowledge and spoke English well. Lots of stairs to start at the wine window then all flat and within a few blocks. Good food. We enjoyed ourselves.

Good food tour of Palmero! - I think this is a great food tour of the Palmero area! We tried a great variety of foods and drinks. We tried charcuterie, a vermouth cocktail, wines, empanadas, choripan, steak, and ice cream. I actually really appreciated the longer stop for steak. A tour guide from a different activity later in our trip mentioned the steakhouse is one of her favorites that many locals go to! I only took off one star because the guides were not very involved. It felt like they just guided us from one place to another with a small overview of the food. We had to ask a lot of questions to get information. Our main guide was training a new employee and spent most of the tour talking with her instead.

Cancelled - Our tour was cancelled for lack of an available guide. The message came on WhatsApp and we didn't see it but they were kind enough to give us the list of restaurants that we would have gone to so that we could go there on our owm

Don't waste your money or time - Very disappointed. After having many food tours through Viator this one was the worst we have had. The food was substandard. The guide was disinterested from the start and only seemed there to get us from point a to b and purchase the food. No real info volunteered. The Tour was poorly organized. Stop 1 was a minimal charcuterie plus 2 different drinks. Two much to drink with such minimal food. One was vermouth and the other was wine and sparkling water. Next stop had empanadas with US made tabasco sauce. No explanations. I had to buy my own water. No drinks provided. Next stop Sausage sandwich. Not stellar. No drinks included. Next stop entree. Steaks were tough and almost uncutable. Served with salad (best part of meal) wine / water. Last stop icecream. Was very good. I expect the walking tour to include some history about the area and food. Not on this tour. Not worth the money paid. We could have had a better experience on our own.
