Fun day-long outing from Buenos Aires - I enjoyed this trip. We were met right on time at our Airbnb by our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Deborah. After a 2-hour drive we arrived at the ranch, had a ‘snack’ of delicious empanadas and then went on the optional horseback ride which was lovely and exciting but easy for a beginner like me. Then a huge lunch - so much meat!! - and a dance demonstration at the end of which the performers encouraged us all to get up and dance with them. Fun!! Then a quick demonstration of horse training and back to the bus for the trip back to BA. Deborah and the staff at the ranch took great care of us. The visit could probably have been an hour shorter but that’s a minor complaint.

Do not miss this. You will regret - One of the highlight of my trip. Debora, was an excellent host and historian. You will not be bored nor hungry. You will eat and eat lots of beef, offals, and veggies. The ranch is gorgeous. The moment you get off the shuttle and scan the place you are truly in a different place. A great one. So relaxing. It was entertaining seeing the many dogs in the property and of course their prized horses. You get history, a lunch which will keep you full for a whole day and half, live singing and dancing, and a wonderful horse ride. Thank you Debora

A must-try Gaucho experience for anyone visiting Buenos Aires - My wife and I had an amazing Gaucho experience at El Ombú de Areco! The tour was perfectly organized and gave us a wonderful taste of Argentine countryside culture. From the relaxing horse riding to the lively traditional dancing and the delicious asado, every part of the day was memorable. A special thank you to our guide Veronica, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout the tour. Also, a big shoutout to Diego for being such a reliable and professional driver, making the journey smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Buenos Aires and looking for an authentic estancia experience!

Fantastic Experience - Small group tour. Everything from hotel pickup, horse riding, food, wine, music, dancing, and Gaucho skills experience was just perfect. It made for one of the best days in Argentina. Our guide Oreana (sp?) was wonderfully sweet and knowledgeable.

El Ombu de Areca - Estancia El Ombu & San Antonio De Areca On the 12th May 2026, Pablo was our guide for the day. Punctual pick up from Hotel 1828 Smart 9am. Pablo was so engaging and very knowledgeable. We were driven to San Antonio De Areca approximately 1,5hrs to 2hrs North of Buenos Aires to the Pampas area, beautiful country with so much History. San Antonio De Areca is a definite must, very quaint. We then went onto the Estancia El Ombu , 15mins away, it was breathtakingly beautiful, the home, the hospitality, the food( divine). The ranch was fantastic highly recommended thanks to Pablo who explained many customs and stories. Next time we still stay a night or 2 at the Estancia. Thank you for getting us back to the city safely and thank you for being so gracious,we shall see you soon. Charmaine & Graeme.

A good trip with an amazing tour guide - The tour wasn't quite for us as we found there was quite a bit of waiting around. However we will stress how amazing the tour guide Oriana was and also how helpful Signature tours were when we changed dates at the last minute. Oriana was super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. She constantly checked in with all the groups on the tour to make sure they were all looked after and did lot's of small additional bits to enhance the tour. If you have time in Buenos Aires we would recommend this trip.
