- Facultad de Ingeniería - Admire this impressive building constructed in the mid-20th century for the Fundación María Eva Duarte de Perón, a charitable foundation led by Eva. “Evita” passed away in 1952 and never used the building. After the 1955 military coup against Perón, it was reassigned to the University of Buenos Aires’ Faculty of Engineering.
- Plaza General Agustín Pedro Justo - This square is home to the city’s only Perón statue.
- Edificio del Ministerio de la Salud y de Desarrollo Social - This building was one of Juan Domingo Perón’s first offices and features an iconic representation of Evita.
- Museo Evita - Delve into Evita’s life by visiting an old shelter managed by Evita Perón. The building’s walls once resonated with Evita’s strong voice and the joyful sounds of women and children who found refuge there. Now, it houses the Museo Evita, a vibrant museum where visitors can learn about and appreciate the life of Argentina’s most significant woman.
- Cementerio de la Recoleta - Visit Evita Perón’s tomb at the Recoleta cemetery. It is a beautiful place, with shaded walkways and towering marble mausoleums showcasing Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Baroque, and Neo-Gothic architectural styles, Masonic symbols, and powerful religious iconography. Over 90 of its tombs are listed as national historical monuments.
