Authentic Buenos Aires Milonga Tour with Jazmin! - I had a spectacular Saturday afternoon on this tour! Because it was a very small group, I was privileged to have a highly personalized experience. My guide, Jazmin, was friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable; I learned so much more through our discussions than I would have in a large group. Jazmin and the agent were also incredibly accommodating when I arrived late due to a local bus mishap. Jazmin was in great spirits about it, joking that I was already "in the spirit of Argentina" by arriving on "local time!" The tour itself was a perfect cultural dive. We explored the Carlos Gardel Museum for a fascinating look at the legend’s life and enjoyed a snack at the historic Las Violetas. To wrap up, we headed to the bohemian La Catedral Club. Jazmin introduced me to the class and, ensuring I was in good hands with the instructors, left me to my expert tango lesson. After the class, I was invited to stay for social dancing in the main hall and given complimentary access to a professional dance show later that evening. While I elected to depart after the lesson, it is clearly a common offer and a fantastic bonus for those who want to keep going. If you want a genuine deep-dive into Buenos Aires, book this and ask for Jazmin!

Excellent experience - We had a great time with our guide Sylvia who took us around the city, to a museum, to a cafe and to our tango class. Sylvia was a lovely guide, she provided interesting and detailed information about the history of tango and the city of Buenos Aires. At the cathedral tango, we took a class with Adriana who taught us the basis and the sensation of tango. We would highly recommend this activity when in Buenos Aires !

The tour started in Cafe de los... -
The tour started in Cafe de los Angelitos. This was the best part of the tour. There was a lot of down time and the tour was just a three room museum. The dance lesson took place in a building that was best described as a fire trap. The dance floor was uneven and had holes. Even the teacher caught her heel in one of the holes. The lesson was an hour late and we got out after dark in what felt like an unsafe neighborhood.
