What a beautiful experience 💛 - What a beautiful experience 💛 I spent a beautiful lunch making empanadas and alfajores, in a small group of only five people, with people from different places, the workshop was in English and Spanish, very dynamic Everything came out delicious and the attention was ten, super friendly, warm and attentive in every detail. It felt like cooking in a house Argentina, despite not sharing the same language laughter, stories and good food were shared Thanks for making it so special!

Must do! - Such a great experience! Host and environment was so welcoming. We ate so much food, so come hungry! We learned not only how to cook but a little bit of the history of the food and the San Telmo area.

Fun Cooking Class - Before our cooking class started, our host talked about mate and served us some in a cup with a straw. We got to talk to the other participants from all around the world. When our cooking class started, the hosts taught us how to make dough for empanadas and alfajores from scratch. Then we chopped vegetables for the empanadas. We rolled out the dough for empanadas and filled them and the hosts taught us how to seal it like a braid. We used round cookie cutters to cut the dough for the alfajores. This was a very enjoyable and fun class and we got to see a family home in Buenos Aires.

She was great with our 6... - She was great with our 6 year old granddaughter helping her make mache, empanadas, and cookies. She had a lot of patience. Four of us spoke English and 2 Spanish and was able to effectively communicate with us all. We had a great time!

lower your expectations - We joined as a couple in a small group of three for this empanada-making class, hoping for a hands-on experience. We took turns contributing to two doughs and chopping veggies, but much of the time involved waiting for our turn, which made it feel disjointed and not particularly engaging. The hosts cooked everything in their kitchen, and we wrapped the beef into empanadas ourselves. The dulce de leche was store-bought, which was convenient but unremarkable. Advertised as 3 hours, we finished in about 2 hours, including 30 minutes of eating. The results were average in taste and execution. With only three people, the waits were tolerable, but if the group were larger, it would likely become quite boring due to the sequential setup. It feels overpriced for the limited involvement and value. We'd suggest it only for very small groups seeking a basic activity, but lower your expectations.
