Very Enjoyable - Rosana was easy to hang out with from the first moment. She asked us what we had done the previous day, then adjusted the experience, so there would be no repetition. It was an unusually hot day, she made sure to give us breaks. She hailed a cab twice for all of us to go to a different part of town for exploration. Her knowledge of the history and culture was extensive. We went to a cafe mid-day for a cool drink and a media luna. This was a pleasant surprise and much needed on a hot, humid day. We ended at the university with Rosanna's extensive information about the history and current status of the university. She made notes for us to explore areas and street fairs during the rest of our time there. We highly recommend Rosana!

Outstanding Walking Tour - I met Aida in Plaza de Mayo, and we embarked on an excellent 3-hour introductory walking tour of the main points of interest in the central city, including a walk into San Telmo and eventually making our way up to Recoleta. She was very informative about the main points of interest along the way and gave me helpful guidance of where to go on my own, including some good restaurant recommendations. Since I had only a short stay in Buenos Aires, Aida's tour provided the perfect orientation to the city.

Fantastic guide! - We were a party of 7 and Rosana was our tour guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained interesting and historical facts in the areas we visited. After the tour my friends and I agreed that we’d seen all the parts of Buenos Aires we wanted to see. Excellent value and truly professional.

A great private guided tour - We had a great tour with Rosanna and would highly recommend her if you’re considering any kind of tour around Buenos Aires. She arrived at our hotel ahead of schedule, spoke very good English, took us to lots of really interesting places that we’d struggle to discover on our own, including really nice places to eat and shop.

Fantastic Intro to Buenos Aires! - What a fantastic walking tour on our first day in Buenos Aires! Veronica really knows her history and it's clear she loves sharing her knowledge. My husband and I highly recommend Veronica as a tour guide..we packed so much in on Day 1 and definitely felt oriented and more clear about what we wanted to explore next. Need to add that Veronica is a great guide to organize whatever you might want to do in this fabulous city and surrounding area!

Good, but not exactly as advertised - I gave this tour 4 stars because I think Aida was a good guide. She communicated well and provided some interesting information about the area we walked through (mostly San Telmo) as well as restaurant recommendations. We went on a Friday and were able to spend some time in the San Telmo Market, something we were grateful for when we returned there on Sunday to find it extremely crowded! There were a couple items that were listed as included in the tour that we did not get, specifically a local drink/tasting and tickets for Galeria Güemes. (Aida did take us to a favorite ice cream place, on our request, and we bought the ice cream.) Due to an unexpected protest in the Plaza de Mayo, our meeting point for the start of the tour, we needed to get out of that area fairly quickly. That may have changed the route that Aida originally planned and, together with the ice cream stop, may explain why we missed the Galeria Güemes, but it was not discussed. In general, I find private "hidden gem" tours to be a good way to be introduced to a city.

7 days for refund after guide who didn’t show up for tour approves it? - We showed up 15 minutes early and our guide never showed! I called Viator 30 minutes later when she was 15 minutes late and they checked with the tour group she works for, and the tour group told Viator she was not responding to their calls. Viator, a company I love and have used successfully and often for 10 years, told me a refund for the prepaid event could take 7 days once the tour guide (who didn’t show up?) approves it. Seriously? While I love and appreciate Viator and all the wonderful tours we’ve taken through them in Europe and Asia, that is not good customer service when the experience did not occur because of the guide!! Plus, what if she never shows up to approve it?

The host was unwilling to... - The host was unwilling to refund a tour with 18 hours notice because my flight was delayed for 12 hours and I couldn’t take the tour. She sent me information that stated she would get paid no matter what so she wasn’t concerned if I took the tour or not.

Nothing worse than a no-show! - We were at the meeting point of Puente de la Mujer at 2:50 PM, 10 minutes before the tour was to start. We stayed until 3:30PM, walking the whole bridge back-and-forth and no tour guide showed. Our afternoon was ruined with nothing to do but go back to the hotel. I will be contacting rioter for a refund of money as soon as I can get to a phone that I can talk on, in about one week.
