A must-do when visiting Buenos Aires. Fantastic experience! - What a fantastic experience! It was one of the highlights of our holiday. Marcelo and Sol were wonderful hosts and patient teachers, despite us having no dance experience and skill. In a very short time, we learned a set of basic, easy to remember moves, that gave us confidence to get up on the dance floor. The milonga we visited was really friendly and it was a unique chance to experience a very local, neighbourhood night out. We even had tasty empanadas and red wine. I would highly recommend this experience.

Do this! Excellent! - I was picked up on time at my hotel in an elegant car and whisked away to a local dance studio run by a renowned local tango dancer. Marcelo and his professional dance partner Denise were very patient in teaching me some basic steps. Marcelo also brought Matcha tea and delicious pastries which we enjoyed on the break. Denise shared a book with me on tango and Marcelo told me about the history of the dance. After this, Marcelo and Denise took me to a Milonga (Tango Dance club) by way of the elegant car. The Milonga was exceptionally atmospheric. We had dinner and danced. There were two different orchestras. One was a renowned group called the Kings of Tango!! Music was exceptional. At the end of the night, I was driven home. This was a fun informative private tour. I felt very safe as a solo traveler and encourage all people to participate! Thank you Marcelo and Denise! You are such great dancers and people!

A class act! - Marcelo and Flor were the best team, instructors and guides for treating us to a great evening of tango, malongas and camaraderie. we booked with them for a family member’s bday and Marcelo and Flor even got us a cake to celebrate! such wonderful teachers and great company!

Highly recommend this tango experience. - A great experience overall. Marcelo and Flor are wonderful instructors and made us feel very comfortable during our lesson. The milonga was an experience not to be missed and with gentle encouragement we were even able to navigate the dance floor. Mission accomplished. The snacks and food also exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a real tango experience.

Amazing Dance Experience - Amazing experience. The teachers are well versed and I was able to dance in a milongas with just one class! I also have a gluten allergy and noted that before the tour. The guide went out of his way, bought me a bag full of gluten free options just so that I would have an enjoyable experience without being hungry. He really went above and beyond. I recommend this tour and can’t wait to use my new dance skills when I get home!

Fantastic Service - Marcelo from Tango Streets provides an amazing service. He is professional, prompt, reliable and takes care of everything. The service makes experiencing tango in Buenos Aires a very enjoyable and trouble free one. Marcelo obviously knows a lot about Buenos Aires and tango and shares his love the city and the dance. You get to experience a variety of milongas and Marcelo helps you every step of the way. This is the absolute perfect way to get to see and experience tango and milongas in Buenos Aires. The most memorable experience of a one-month trip - My husband and I spent a month in South America in March 2018 with a group of friends. During a week in BA, we spent an evening with Marcelo and his partner Nati, including a private lesson in a studio and two milonga visits. It's really an understatement to say it exceeded all our expectations; among all our many activities on the trip, was the most special moment for all who participated. Marcelo has a unique approach to teaching beginners, one that gave us all the tools to enjoy an unselfconscious evening in a milonga not as observers, but participants. It was absorbing, moving, fun, thought-provoking, and truly special. You don't need to know a thing -- you only need to be curious. Do it!

Immersive tango experience - Marcelo and Flor gave us a wonderful introduction and appreciation for Tango. We started with the lesson that was introductory but gave us the confidence to do basic moves at the traditional Milonga we visited first that gave us a nice overview of Milonga culture. They were great company as well and we really felt their passion for Tango. By the second Milonga we felt like Portenos dancing! The highlight was Marcelo took us to a third Milonga that had a live Tango orchestra that had a great crowd. We enjoyed it so much we ended up going to Milongas on our own in Buenos Aires 2 more times on our trip!

Tango night - My boyfriend and l were both very happy with our tango experience in BA, with Marcelo and Natalia. We’re picked up at our hotel, which was very convenient, and taken to the location for the tango lesson. We danced for an hour and then went off to two different tango clubs. On the first club there was a fantastic orchestra and a very nice and informal ambience. Good finger food as well. Afterwards we went to the other club, which was more formal, and the music was another style. It was nice to see both, though I’d love to stay more time at the first one. I’d also like to dance even more than We did! All in all, a great opportunity to learn to tango with the locals! Marcelo and Natalia are very nice and friendly, and very good instructors.
