As a professional surfer who’s spent years chasing the perfect break across Central America, I was eager to explore this lesser-known spot. The allure of shallow waters, consistent winds, and a rustic charm unspoiled by mass tourism was too tempting to resist.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warm smiles of Eva and Riin, the hosts who make you feel like part of their extended family. The accommodations were simple yet comfortable, with wooden bungalows right on the beach, offering a front-row seat to the stunning kite area. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the sense of community was palpable as guests gathered around a large table to share meals and stories. It was a refreshing change from the usual hustle and bustle of more commercialized surf spots.
