- Margaret Bridge - Our journey begins in the charming residential area near Margaret Bridge and the Danube bank. This area, though less frequented by international tourists, is as picturesque as any central district. We’ll visit a quaint, cozy spot popular with locals to enjoy some traditional craft products and, naturally, some refined light Hungarian wines to start.
- Margaret Island - Early in our tour, you’ll have the opportunity to glimpse the city’s green oasis, our cherished island retreat.
- Danube River - With your tour group, you’ll relish the view of the UNESCO World Heritage-protected riverbank while riding tram number 2, our “sightseeing” tramline.
- Pozsonyi Way - Strolling through this distinctive urban cultural and gastronomic passage in Budapest is a highlight of our program.
- Hungarian Parliament Building - We continue our walk in the most elegant district of downtown, near our magnificent Parliament building. In addition to admiring architectural marvels, we’ll visit a trendy, new-wave wine bar to expand our experience of Hungarian wines by tasting two or three different varieties.
- Jewish Quarter - We save the two most renowned Hungarian wines for the end at a cult wine bar. We conclude the tour in the Jewish Quarter because it’s a vibrant area filled with restaurants and bars. If guests wish to continue exploring Hungarian cuisine, this is the perfect place to finish. We’ll provide some helpful tips and recommendations for further exploration.
- Hungarian State Opera - The iconic view of our State Opera House and its surroundings is a wonderful addition to help form your own impression of the local theater culture.
