Excellent tuition and guidance - An excellent, well organised, guided class showing how to make traditional Chimney cakes. The instruction and demonstration was excellent and friendly feedback and humour was evident throughout. Would highly recommend.

Great workshop - It was a super guided workshop that I can only recommend to anyone. You still learn a lot about the history of chimney cakes and end up with your three homemade copies.

Chimney cakes you get to make! - We enjoyed learning about the history of chimney cakes, along with differences in cakes between countries. We started with prepared dough and followed the clear instructions from our teacher. We got to create our own chimney cakes from start to finish! Everything was prepared so you could follow along at your station. We met nice people in class, and enjoyed learning from our knowledgeable teacher.

Professional but without joy - The cake workshop was professionally led, but the instructor seemed unmotivated and only whittled down her program. That kind of squeezed the mood.

Okay, but not essential to take - From start to finish, the workshop was 34 minutes. I did not learn much about how chimney cakes came to be a dessert/snack in Budapest, or how to make the dough. It was a quick class on how to cut the dough into 3 pieces, roll them, place them properly to be baked, and cover in sugar. The dough was very hard after baking and could not be eaten after a couple of hours. While this was a quick and easy class to take, I wouldn’t recommend it as essential when visiting Budapest. I also thought the cost did not match the experience. In my opinion, this class should not have been more than $20-25 USD.

Nice experience, but felt... - Nice experience, but felt a bit rushed. Lasted less than an hour. Would have enjoyed hearing a bit about the history of chimney cakes as others described. A bit overpriced.
