- Budakeszi - At the other end of Budakeszi, we pause to rest in a meadow by the Church of Our Lady of Angels, built in the 18th century. This church was constructed by Trinitarian monks who, during the Turkish Ottoman occupation, collected money to ransom war prisoners, often sacrificing their own lives in the process.
- Normafa - After cycling 15.5 km, we reach Normafa, a beloved picnic spot for Budapest locals. It’s a popular destination for hiking, sledding, skiing, and enjoying hot wine in winter, often accompanied by the famous strudel available year-round. For locals, a visit to Normafa is synonymous with enjoying a strudel!
- Janoshegy - At the 18th km mark of our tour, we arrive at the stunning Elisabeth Lookout Tower. Situated atop the 527-meter-high János Hill, the highest point in Budapest, the tower was inaugurated in 1910 and named after the renowned Empress Sisi, who first visited the viewpoint in 1882 and grew fond of it. The panoramic view from here is breathtaking, offering a 360-degree vista of the capital, the Buda Hills, and the Pilis Mountains.
- Máriaremete - The final, picturesque section of our tour takes us through the woods to the fascinating ‘Remete-szurdok’ gorge, which connects Remeteszőlős with Máriaremete. This enchanting woodland trail is always adorned with beautiful flowers along the way.
