This tour IS essential for first time visitors. - Zoli , our fabulous guide, was great! Animated, full of knowledge and also had all those little facts and antidotes we all love. As we visited Buda and Pest, expect a fair amount of walking and we also used the metro and bus. For info, over 65s can travel for free, you just need to carry ID, I had bought a 3 day pass Like many, we book a tour to both learn and help us decide on where we want to visit afterwards. You’ll be spoilt for choice, Budapest has a fascinating history and surprisingly tough rules for drivers! Thank you to Zoli for a great afternoon

Get to see the main sights with a local! - Wonderful walking tour, approx 3hrs of walking through the city and seeing the main sites with the opportunity to find out about the history and ask questions. Our tour guide Zoli was excellent and provided all the info we needed and had a good sense of humour too. This was a very worthwhile tour.

The best way to see beautiful Budapest! - This was a wonderful tour. Ursula was our guide and she was awesome!! She was able to meet us at our hotel, which helped a lot. We were new to Budapest that day. She helped us learn how to manage pubic transportation, which was incredibly helpful. Ursula was so incredibly knowledgeable about Budapest and its history. She shared personal stories to help us understand what living in Budapest is truly like. We LOVED this tour. At the end, she shared with us her favorite bakery at Buda Castle. It was a fabulous day. Take this tour! The views are epic!

Leisurely Private Walking Tour with Diana - My wife and I spent three days in Budapest. Arriving in the morning from Prague, we had a 2 pm private tour that lasted about 3 1/2 hours. We walked from St. Stephen (Istvan) Basilica on the Pest side of the Danube (Duna) across the bridge to the Buda side. What we enjoyed was the leisurely pace since it was a private tour, yet we saw so much: the Parliament, Budapest Castle and all the buildings of import as well as some of the other important sights such as the shoes memorial on the Danube commemorating the shooting of thousands of Jews killed by the Nazi-aligned Arrow Cross party. The architecture of Budapest is spectacular and Diana pointed out the significance of the various sites. Highly recommended walking tour.
