The tour offers an opportunity to view, explore, and understand the historical and cultural aspects of the country. It covers 50 points of interest and provides an introduction to the arrival of the first Magyar tribes, the Ottomans, the Hapsburg Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, WW1, WW2, the Soviet Occupation, and life in modern-day Hungary. It also includes recommendations for the best bars, restaurants, spas, and cultural spots in the city.
Participants can tip the guides as they see fit based on their experience. A booking fee is payable to TripAdvisor.
These tours are fast-paced, led by professional historians, and maintain small group sizes, under 25 people, to ensure participants can easily hear and see the guide and have ample time to ask questions.
