- Buda Castle - We will take the public transport to the Castle of Buda. We will visit the famous Buda Castle: first we will explore the panoramic terrace of the Royal Palace with the most beautiful view of the city.
- Fountain of King Matthias - See a beautiful fountain made in the 19th century.
- Sandor Palace - Then we will move from the castle of Buda to the palace of the president with the guards in historical uniforms.
- Fisherman’s Bastion - As a next stop on the tour you will have the chance to admire one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in Budapest, the Fishermen’s Bastion with the famous panorama over the river Danube and the Hungarian Parliament building.
- Matthias Church - Our tour ends at the beautiful Matthias Church built in the Middle Ages in Gothic style. (The visit inside is also possible after the tour, but it requires an entrance ticket which costs 5 EUR / person to be paid separately.)

Grand city with plenty to explore with a caveat - Budapest is a beautiful, grand city with impressive architecture and plenty to explore. Walking around feels like stepping into history, and there’s no shortage of sights, food, or atmosphere.
However, security cameras are extremely visible and widespread, which can feel distracting and a bit uncomfortable, especially when you’re trying to relax on vacation. It doesn’t completely ruin the experience, but it’s something sensitive visitors should be aware of.

Joys of Budapest - This walking tour was very relaxed and informative. Our guide, Dominic had a great sense of humor and his English skills were excellent. He loves his city and was able to share that joy with us. He gave us options for making our way across town.

Experience 5 stars - Vera, an exceptional guide, in the 3 hours she was with us, explained the history of Budapest and Hungary with a great passion and wisdom. We were lucky that he could speak a perfect Portuguese, so, through all the places we passed we understood the history of the country.

Best Tour Ever! - Best tour ever! Dominik was extremely knowledgeable of all the attractions and even went out of his way to share information about other landmarks throughout the city as we walked to each attraction. He explained everything very well and we were very engaged throughout the tour. Would 100% choose this experience again!

Fabulous 3 hours - Naomi was excellent! Born and raised in Hungary and understood the history. We enjoyed getting to know Budapest, seeing St Stephen Basilica, waking by parliament, over the chain bridge , through Buda Castle and ending by the church of our lady. It help us figure-out where we wanted to spend more time the following day.

Very informative - Joel our guide was ready and waiting at the meeting point. Unfortunately it rained continuously during our tour, however, Joel did a great job of keeping us engaged and interested in the soggy weather. He was very knowledgeable and we feel that in 3 hours we had a great overview of Bud & Pest

Do this tour…. Outstanding! - This was an outstanding tour and I can’t imagine getting a better orientation. Our guide was Dalia who grew up here and not only knows the facts and figures, but what it was like growing up during the Cold War.
