This introductory tour of Budapest is an ideal choice if it’s your first visit to the city. Allow us to guide you through the most memorable highlights of both Buda and Pest in a 6-hour walking tour, ensuring you get the most out of this half-day experience.
Our journey starts on the Pest side, where we’ll visit Heroes’ square and explore the City Park neighborhood. We’ll take a stroll along Andrássy avenue, pausing at the State Opera House. We’ll then journey through the Jewish quarter to reach the St. Stephen’s Basilica, the city’s largest Catholic church. In the governmental district, we’ll discover Liberty Square and admire the Parliament Building.
On the Buda side – the ancient historical town –, we’ll take you on a tour of the Buda Castle Garden Bazaar, the Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matthias Church.

A 5 Star Experience ! - Assistance from Wonder guides allowed our family to enjoy a most amazing visit to Budapest. Katalin and her guides will fill you with history and stories about this old city, the surrounding area, its history and beauty. Don't hesitate to travel to Eger, Szendrei, or take the Grand Budapest Tour. We western citizens know so little about eastern Europe. Wonder guides will wet your appetite to learn more and visit Budapest again. A 5 Star experience!

Awesome tour of Budapest - Katalin Boldizsar of Budapest Wonderguides gaves us the absolute best tour of Budapest. Fabulous day touring Budapest - There is so much to do in Budapest and with the limited amount of time we had there we chose to have Budapest Wonder Guide give us a tour. We LOVED Susan. There is no way in the world we could have seen as much stuff as we did if she had not guided us. Susan was knowledgeable, likeable, friendly and just so darn pleasant! Thank you so much!

Amazing tour with an excellent guide - We always book a guide when we travel to get a better inside view of a city and it was a amazing and above our expectation.
Our tour guide Katalin is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and makes history easy and fun.
Katalin put together a beautiful walk along all the highlight in response to our wishes. She does this in an easy going and adequate manner, with a dose of humor, where there's space for questions. Her pace is perfect and enjoyable. Her interaction is fantastic and she is also interested in her guests.
We highly recommend Katalin, it was lovely and fantastic!!!

Amazing tour in Budapest - We did the 6hr walking tour with Katalin and it was amazing! Katalin was extremely knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We saw all of the highlights of the city, plus a lot more. Would highly recommend Katalin and the company in general.

Wonder Guides are Wonderful. - Katalin is an excellent guide with a masterful knowledge of this grand city. She is able to provide indepth historical information. If you need adivce about any aspect of the city, she knows all the details. Ask her about a restaurant or a place to stay, and she can give you advice. We recommend Katalin for large or small groups, children as well as adults. She can take you to exhibits for children that adults can also enjoy. We are thankful for our experience with Katalin and gained a better understanding of the beautiful Budapest. .
