Anticipate approximately 1.5 hours of free time at each site, offering a meaningful experience while keeping the entire day within a typical 12 to 14-hour duration. As traffic and local conditions may vary, adjustments to the schedule may be made to ensure a timely return to Bucharest.
- Entrance tickets are not included, so we recommend purchasing them in advance as they sell out quickly. For Peles, choose one of the following time slots (Wed: 10:00–12:45; Thu–Sun: 09:15–11:00 or 11:00–12:45). For Bran, tickets can be purchased on site.
- Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and can only be visited from the outside on these days.
- Bran Castle may sometimes be visited after Brasov, depending on traffic conditions and opening hours.
- Children under 4 years old cannot attend shared tours.
- In the event of heavy traffic or force majeure situations, the tour may take longer than expected.

Dracula’s Road Trip!!! - Had a great time visiting Peleş castle, Braşov and Bran castle, it was a very long day at over 13 hrs but our guide Danny was great and kept us informed and entertained, our driver was amazing too driving us back through thunder and lightning storms back to Bucharest.
Would recommend this trip.

Long but good! - A really good tour.
The castles are great and Braşov is a lovely town. The only downside is the length of time. We were 14 hours in total, which considering you get about 4.5 hours out of the bus in total, that's a lot of sitting in the bus. It can't be helped though, that's just the way it is.
Our tour guide Danny was really good, informative and funny.

Great Tour with an Amazing Guide - Amazing tour and a fantastic guide!
I had a really great experience on this tour. Dani was super helpful, funny, and made the whole day much more interesting with his stories and explanations. He created a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and I enjoyed the trip from beginning to end.
The places were beautiful, and Dani made the experience even better. Definitely recommended!
Just one recommendation: book your Peleș Castle tickets in advance. In some cases, tickets can be sold out and you may not be able to buy them at the entrance.

Great Tour! - This tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide Stephan was so knowledgeable and helpful. The bus was spacious, comfortable and air conditioned. It was all so convenient getting to and from the castles. Book this tour if you’re keen to see Dracula’s castle. Would definitely book it again

Great tour - exactly as billed - Steffan was a great guide. He delivered commentary in English and Spanish and had the plan down to a science. We bought castle tickets for the timeslots mentioned in the details and everything worked perfectly. I felt sorry for those that did not buy tickets in advance because Peles was sold out.

Couple's weekend - We booked an Italian tour for the scheduled day (Saturday, August 1st). The day before, we were contacted via WhatsApp by the agency, which warned us that since there were only two of us, the tour could not take place. They immediately offered us a refund or to take the one in English. We chose to go in English; being habitual travelers, we have the basics to understand the English of a non-native guide.
It was the right choice.
The guide, a guy whose name I don't remember, was heroic. Why do I say this? Because of a Rally race in the town near Peles Castle, all traffic was blocked. It seemed impossible to reach the castle. He tried in every way, taking alternative routes, contacting the agency, talking to the police... and in the end... when all seemed lost (including our entrance tickets), he succeeded! As soon as we reached it, his exclamation "that's the fuc#@#
Castle" drew an ovation and a long round of applause from the whole van 🤣🤣😃😃!
The places visited are splendid. The visit times were perfect. The opportunities to access restrooms throughout the tour were calculated to perfection.
In short, everything was perfect!
Obviously, the Rally race and the resulting traffic caused delays. We left at 7:45 AM sharp and returned at 11:00 PM.
But having said that, the guide was SUPER!
(The last kindness he granted us was to drop us off next to our hotel on the way back, since it was a long way to the main street that led to University Square!😊)
Recommended agency. Super!

Transylvania and Castles - Great day out with excellent driver and guide. Learned so much history about Romania, the castles, the people.
Grayline could help more with more explicit information re booking for Peles Castle and Bran Castle. Ie need first slot for Peles and it seems Bran can be booked when get there. Due to traffic very difficult to book exact time slot for Bran and some passengers were stressed with having to change time slots.
But still a very worthwhile day trip .Thank you .

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE - NOT WORTH IT! 9 hours on the bus for 4 hours of sightseeing and on top of that with lines. I recommend the inside of Peles Castle. Bran Castle “Dracula” (we only passed by it...) is only worth it from the outside, the bad thing is that you have to go through the ticket office and pay for a photo, everything is fenced off. Brasov is very pretty and very, very touristy

Never take it again - Bus was very terrible. AC had two controls Off and High. we have to ask to turn on AC. as we drove around curbs it sounds like vehicle bearing or were worn out. I was afraid wheel would come off. People should be aware if traffic it going to be a 3 1/2 hour ride no bathroom/comfort stop. You have to plan your meals during your 1 1/2 hour stop.
Guild was nice and knowledgeable. Problem was trip had two different languages and sometime is seem the Italian language which was first had a longer talk about things and English got the cleft notes. Italians where the bigger group, I get that, but every time we go place we what until he got done with the Italians to find out what he said.
As for pick up we never got a response on confirmation of pick up. Trip advisor only had your Hotel not picked. It was a very disappoint with trip advisor and tour.
