Perfect perfect perfect - It was an amazing tour! Idan was our guide, and he explained everything so well. We discovered so much history about places we didn’t know before. We had a private tour to the Sinaia area,Peles Castle, the villages, and the huge breathtaking lake. We joined the tour to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday, and he truly enjoyed every moment. We went up by cable car, saw snow, and rode sleds down the mountain — it was simply an incredible experience for a child. Peles Castle was stunning. We learned about the days of the first king, the small palace, and the large palace. The place is beautiful and very Instagram-worthy. We also stopped there for coffee, pizza, and cute delicious desserts. From there we continued to the villages. It was fascinating to learn how some villages still live without electricity and running water. Then we arrived at a breathtakingly beautiful lake. It was a perfect day. Idan, our guide, was very friendly, cheerful, professional, and explained everything with so much knowledge and passion — even beyond what we expected. Truly an amazing experience!

Fantastic off the beaten track adventure - Me and my family had a brilliant time on our tour of the villages in Sinaia. The scenery is beautiful, the villages intriguing and the castle interesting. I would thoroughly recommend taking the cable cars to the top of the mountains as the views are incredible and the experience enjoyable. I would also recommend taking the option of lunch at a villager's house. The food was fresh and delicious and it was greatly enjoyed by my children who played with toys in their garden and loves seeing the farm animals. Idan (the tour guide) was the real star of the day. His communication is exceptional and we all really enjoyed the way he shared information with us. He was hugely knowledgeable but his style is conversational and his passion evident meaning that we never felt spoken at or that we were receiving a spiel. He is warm and friendly and was wonderful with our small children. He also clearly knows a lot of people and his Romanian is fluent so was a tremendous help when visiting different places. Overall I would happily recommend this tour (or any other with Idan) to anyone.

An enlightening day in the Villages of Transylvania - The visits to the small villages is a terrific tour. The highlight was a visit to a 185 year old family farm that exists without running water or gas. They have no vehicle and all work is done by hand with horse and wagon. It takes you back to early 1900. The tour guide Aiden is fantastic, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He made the day long trip a fun adventure.
