10 out 10! - This tour was a perfect mix of local history and local food. We really enjoyed the overall experience. It was a private tour so we moved at our own pace. Our tour guide was easy to be with, he was very knowledgeable and kind and showed us the most interesting landmarks and the best local food. She spoke great English. I found my new favorite dessert! Highly recommend as an introduction to Bucharest. It was the perfect way to start our vacation.

Best tour ever. - The absolute best food and culture tour with a fantastic host. Manuela was knowledgeable and took us to the most amazing places for a taste of local flavors. We walked through the city and were given facts about Romania's origins and struggles. As we stopped at various places for food tastings, we were given the background of the area while enjoying amazing foods. We experienced a family style sit-down dinner with our host, as she explained each dish. Come hungry because there is a lot of food. We strolled at our own pace with leisure while we leaned of each areas importance.
Best tour ever and worth every penny. Our host was amazing.

Best food tour ever. - This was the absolutely best tour we have taken. Our host walked us through the city and stopped at small local shops with the best food tastings. Everything was fresh and made on the spot upon our arrival. Our host Manuela, would stop at various locations and explain the origins of the city and country with facts about the people involved. We went through the old town, through revolution square, past the music hall, past historic churches dating back to the 14th century, all while having delicious local flavors. We sat down for a family style dinner with our host a she explained each dish. I cannot say enough how this was the best tour by far. Our group of 4 was extremely impressed. The walk was casual at your own pace.

Nice intro to Bucharest! - Did this on day 1 in Bucharest, it started at National Theater at 10 and went all the way to 3pm. Great mix of places and ample food, including a stop at the market. Alex our guide was great giving lots of historical and current information about the city/country. There is a lot if walking on this tour and we had one tram ride. I definitely recommend this as a day one settling in activity in Bucharest.

Superb Cultural Experience - Perfect combination of cultural/history and fun foodie experience. As a couple who does foodie tours on all our travels, domestic and international, this one ranks among the best. Manuela was exceptionally knowledgeable, and willing to take questions to delve in to our further interests about the historic sights we experienced. The tastings were wonderful, and really represented local traditions and favorites. The restaurant where we had our main courses was wonderful, and clearly a local favorite, in a quieter, non-tourist laden area of Old Town. We returned on our own the next day as we shopped Old Town. Can't recommend this private tour highly enough!

A must do city tour - A must do tour to experience the real essence of Bucharest. Manuela was a brilliant guide and she was very knowledgeable, giving us so much information about the history of this beautiful city. Coupled with the culinary delights of Romania this tour was a delight. Thankyou Manuela

Afternoon Delight - Manuela provided a concise Romanian history lesson and detailed Bucharest cultural experience that appealed to the senses.
