• Belfry of Bruges - Upon arriving at Bruges’s historic Market Square, guests will be surrounded by colorful guild houses, lively cafés, and the city’s impressive medieval ambiance. Dominating the square is the famous Belfry Tower, one of Bruges’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of the city’s historical wealth and power. Nearby, visitors can also explore the Basilica of the Holy Blood, a beautiful historic church renowned for housing a revered relic believed to contain the blood of Jesus Christ.
• Grote Markt - The walking tour concludes in the heart of Bruges at the historic Market Square, where guests will have approximately 2 hours of free time to explore the city at their leisure. Whether choosing to sample famous Belgian fries, enjoy a local beer, browse nearby chocolate shops, or simply relax and soak in the medieval atmosphere, Market Square is the perfect place to enjoy free time.

At this point, the guide will bid farewell and clearly explain where and when to meet for the return transportation back to the ship.

Alternatively, guests may opt to replace part of their free time with a 30-minute canal cruise (+- 5 minutes boarding time). Canal tickets can be selected during the booking process.

• Historic Centre of Brugge - Guests may choose to include a 30-minute canal cruise to experience Bruges from a unique perspective as they glide through the city’s scenic canals, passing historic bridges, charming facades, and hidden corners only visible from the water. A canal ride is considered one of the quintessential Bruges experiences and a delightful way to absorb the city’s unique atmosphere.

Please note that if this option is chosen, canal tickets are pre-arranged. Boats are shared with the general public, and approximate waiting times of 15–20 minutes may occur depending on crowds. Guests opting for the canal cruise will have reduced free time in the city. If choosing to purchase canal tickets directly on site, it is recommended to visit the ticket window at the start of free time to increase the chances of securing a spot, as ticket availability on the day cannot be guaranteed.

• Cruise Terminal Zeebrugge - At the end of the Bruges visit, guests will return to their private vehicle for a comfortable transfer back to Zeebrugge cruise terminal, ensuring ample time before the ship’s departure. Before parting ways after the guided walk, the guide will clearly explain the exact meeting point and time for the return transfer. The guide will not accompany guests during the return drive to the port.
