Fantastic tour filled with history on the pearls in Broome - This tour is fantastic, Big Stu was great, really informative and made it interesting. Loved that it was hands on and you try on things (the diving helmets etc) and try pearl meat. Great to hear about the history of the pearls in Broome.

Pearl Luggers Tour - This tour was enjoyable and informative. Provided an excellent insight of the history of Broome. There was a mix of artefacts, video footage and spoken information. The pearl meat was very tasty.

Very interesting presentation - An interesting and well delivered presentation by young, but very knowledgeable staff member, ‘Best’. Very informative about Broome early history and the pearling industry. The early photos accompanying his presentation were very interesting. The information and video about the suits and weights worn by the early divers was fascinating. He was good with kids in the audience. We stayed on for the ‘free’ demo of opening the oyster shell, followed by further information about Pearl grading inside the store. Overall very informative and excellent value for money.

The history of pearling industry in Broome - I heartily recommend this tour. It was informative and visually referenced the deprivations and harsh conditions faced by all concerned in the pearling industry. It graphically showed how the humble workers risked life and limb for the white Pearling Masters. Very touching and poignant history. Excellent value. Thankyou.

- Very interesting tour -explained how Broome was involved in the Pearl industry. Worth doing to give you a heads up - nice taste of pearl meat at the end - only a 2 hour tour and you should follow up with a tour of Willie Pearls as well Last time I was in Broome and did these tours was 2004

Value could be improved, but interesting - An interesting experience, but not sure it's worth the price. The tour talks to the history of pearling in Broome, but leaves out a lot of the detail around slavery and racial prejudice. They also acknowledged the Traditional Owners but failed to name which Country they're on. High level overview of the pearling industry - from buttons to cultured pearls - with a chance to see and touch lots of shells etc. A lot of historical things like diving helmets and suits, talked to fairly briefly, and the experience of divers. Feel like it either needs to be longer to justify the cost, or make it cheaper and refer people to the museum for more details. Ended with a taste of pearl meat, and a chance to watch a pearl harvest, and a nudge to visit the store with a small discount.
