Fantastic tour! - Owner/host Samantha welcomed us warmly to her family pistachio farm. Our introduction to pistachio culture began among the trees, where Rafael explained how trees are grafted and grow in the volcanic soil. Next we moved up to the buildings where Samantha invited us to a table to enjoy tasting pistachios, plain and in a variety of delicious preparations, almost all made by Samantha’s mother in the nearby kitchen. This visit was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Sicily. We will never again question the price of pistachios, and we came away with many new ideas for using pistachios. Because I wear a leg brace, we are also appreciative of Samantha’s thoughtful assistance with the driveway between our parking spot near the trees and the main level.

Do it! - My family and I had the greatest time at Samantha’s organic pistacchio farm in Bronte Sicily. She took us on a tour (not too much walking) of the orchard that has been in her family over 200 years and explained to us the farming practices that it takes to grow the pistacchio fruits. We have a profound new appreciation for the amount of effort, ingenuity, and precision it takes to maintain, harvest, and process pistachios. The food was LOVELY, the produce grown on Samantha’s land and the meats sourced from within town. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone interested!

A great (and delicious) experience! - My girlfriends and I had a great time at the farm! Already the journey through the mountains and the valley were impressive. Samantha welcomed us warmly and showed us a lot about growing, harvesting and Processing the famous Bronte pistachios. It is clear to notice that a lot of emphasis is placed on tradition and sustainability. Our highlight were the numerous and incredibly delicious pistachio snacks that her mother lovingly prepared. They even had wine and lemonade. A great recommendation!

Fantastic - The tour was great. Lots of fascinating information that helped you appreciate all of the work and time it takes to produce amazing pistachios. The best part was the lunch - amazing food (most locally grown in the owners garden) and lots of options to taste. Fantastic experience.

Authentic and personal Sicilian experience - On June 17th we got a tour of the Pistachio fields with our family. It was interesting to get an insight into the work. The owner was able to answer our questions well. It was friendly and authentic. The mother had prepared delicious snacks together with the owner. We now enjoy the delicious pistachio paste we bought after the tour when we returned home to the Netherlands.

Pistachio experience - Although it is not pistachio is not in season, the tour was very informative about its origin and its harvesting.

Good, The real Bronte pistachio is an incredible fruit - We finally discovered how the real Bronte pistachio is grown and harvested. It's incredible that it grows on volcanic soil, being able to touch the plant and smell the scents was a fantastic experience

Informative tour and delicious food! - We love the fact that it is a personal tour with just me and my wife and the only guests. We were greeted by the farm owner, his wife, and an English translator. They were all warm and welcoming.
The owner was knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history and facts about the pistachio plants. The food they provided was crazy good. They even ended the tour with a beautiful drone video of us and the entire plantation. Highly recommended!

Unique experience! - Tour organized very well by two young guys who love and value their land.
Fantastic tasting and all the experience enhanced by a video shot with the drone that was then sent to me.
