Visit to the Cailler Cafe ☕️ - It doesn't have to be the lead every time.
A visit to the café or chocolate shop at the entrance is also worthwhile.
The staff is super friendly.
For CHF 7.50 a drink chocolate is lovingly decorated with the desired toppings (meringues, marshmallows...) and tastes super delicious!

Workshop macarons - I attended the Macaroons workshop today.
It was huge.
A huge thank you to Antonio for his professionalism, his warm welcome and especially his good advice that allowed me to succeed my macarons. He is a real + at the workshop.
Thanks also to Paola for her valuable help.
And thank you to Maison Cailler for the good chocolate

Some tips for the visit - If you want to book a chocolate workshop, book when you see one that fits your schedule. They sell out fast. When you get to the room where you can try nuts, cocoa etc, don’t eat too much. Those nuts will fill you up and you won’t have any space left for chocolate to try. We visited the factory in summer and there were flies in the chocolate tasting room, something to keep in mind. Also, being wet hand wipes, chocolate is soft due to heat in the room and will leave marks on your hands. There is a hand sanitizer in the room, but it doesn’t really clean your hands. Interesting gift shop, but we bought Cailler chocolates at a Coop supermarket. The factory is 10 minutes away by car from the Gruyère Cheese house, so you can combine both places in one day. It’s not a walking distance.

Chocolate heaven - Fans of chocolate absolutely should not miss this factory tour. It’s fun, informative, and the best part of all is the opportunity to sample some of the incredible chocolates (and then buy them in the gift shop, with prices better than anywhere else). It’s a popular place (for good reason) so plan on prebooking your visit. There is a restaurant/cafe where you can enjoy more chocolate if you do have to wait a bit, too.
We made a day of it with a morning visit to the cheese factory, lunch in Gruyère, then this stop, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Do not miss it!

Very nice experience for gourmets - The immersion tour is really interesting because it tells not the manufacture but the discovery of chocolate by the conquistadors and the arrival in Europe then its development in Switzerland
Then explanations on the raw material sectors, olfactory discoveries, visit to the production circuit and the final: tasting

Great Tour and Tastings Too - Excellent tour. These guys know what they are doing! You go on a tour that is a series of events that explains the history of chocolate, how they make it, etc... all done in an interesting and entertaining manner. This will keep everyone's attention, young and old. Toward the end they offer you samples. Very professional.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A fun and interesting tour - This is a fun interactive tour to learn about the chocolate process. Of course there are plenty of samples along the way, but we also learned a lot. Definitely worth a visit.
