Purchased Premium Seats - While I was exploring Australia, I took the Penguin Parade, & Wildlife Encounters Eco Tour. During the tour, we went to: Brighton Bathing Boxes, Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, Anzacs Beach, Nobbies View Point, and Penguin Parade. We were able to get lunch during our stop at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. I purchased some food and a wallaby and duck ate from my hand. It was very hot so the kangaroos sat in the shade. We stopped for dinner in Cowes, VIC, Australia. Plenty of restaurants, I tried The Corner Burger Restaurant. I loved our tour guide, Lisa. Lisa was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lisa let me borrow her sweater during the Penguin Parade because I didn't bring one and the beach at night was a little chilly with the wind blowing. I was able to see penguins during the parade but I wished I would have paid for premium seats so I could see more penguins. The sunset was so beautiful.

An unforgettable wildlife experience! - The Penguin Parade & Wildlife Encounters Eco Tour from Melbourne was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever done. Seeing the little penguins come ashore at sunset was magical — they are even cuter in person than you can imagine! The whole experience felt very natural and respectful, and it’s clear that the guides really care about the wildlife and the environment. The drive out to Phillip Island was scenic and comfortable, and our guide was fantastic, sharing tons of interesting facts about the wildlife along the way. We got to see koalas and kangaroos in the wild, which was a real highlight. It’s so much more personal than just visiting a zoo. At the Penguin Parade, we had great views of the penguins waddling back to their burrows, and the whole atmosphere was surprisingly peaceful — even though there were a lot of people, it felt intimate and special. The sunset setting made it even more unforgettable. This tour is a must if you’re in Melbourne and want to see Aussie wildlife in its natural habitat. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature!

Excellent trip with Michael - We had a great time with our guide Michael who is an awesome guide and person. There was a car accident at Moonlit Sanctuary not involving our tour group. Michael helped direct traffic for a bit so that the jammed roads could clear up. This did not delay the tour much, as we completed the rest of the trip to Philip Island timely, including time for dinner at Cowes and saw plenty of penguins after that. Michael looked after all of us, helped with photo-taking, recommended eateries, and was very enthusiastic and knowledgable.

Fantastic day exploring the history and wildlife of Melbourne and Philip Island. The blue fairy Penguins were a delight - Wonderful day exploring the Brighton Boxes, Moonlit Sanctury, Nobbies, and the Penguin Parade. It was a really hot day so the sanctuary was quite sleepy, but still interesting. Our guide, Sophia, was wonderful. Full of energy and genuine passion for Melbourne, Philip Island, the wildlife and environment. Also loved Sophia's music :) It was a long day but a great day. The only negative was nothing to do with the tour or guiding. Sadly at the penguin parade, despite repeated calls from the rangers for people to not use their phones to photograph or video penguins (because it's harmful to them), a large % of people paid no attention and seemed unconcerned at pointing flashing phones/lights directly at the penguins. It's so sad that people can be so selfish for the sake of a picture or film.
