Adorable Little Penguins - What a neat experience and incredible day! We enjoyed the scenic stops, feeding the wallabies and kangaroos at the wildlife sanctuary, and the quaint town of Cowes where we had delicious flakes (shark) and chips for dinner. Of course, the highlight of the trip was watching the adorable little penguins make their way out of the water and onto the beach back home. We only saw 4-5 penguins from the bleachers, but they waddled single file along the boardwalk later on. What a fantastic sight to see! Would highly recommend this tour!

Great tour guide - Here was another tour guide who was really up for his job and who took care of all the participants with wit and charm so that we could all spend an eventful day. I haven't had such an excellent guided day in a long time.

Fun and relaxing - Lots of photo opportunities. Moonlit Sanctuary is great. I booked animal encounters separately ahead of time to make sure they weren’t sold out, which worked out because the wombat was sold out the day of. Penguin Parade is very cold at night so make sure you bring warm clothes! (We went in mid Sept)

Penguin Parade - Russell was very friendly. He gave sufficient but not overwhelming explanations. The only part that I wish it can improve is a better condition van bus.

Disappointing - They give the expectation that you will see hundreds of penguin marching along the beach but we only saw about 20 and they were far from where we were seated. Huge disappointment! The best part is leaving the stands and seeing a few babies calling for their moms as you walk the boardwalk back to the visitor center. Also, no photography or phone light allowed: no pictures! The Brighton Beach Boxes were okay, the Nobbies were beautiful. But for a 12 hour day with wasted time at a sad animal sanctuary and drive time in a cramped and dated bus, I would not recommend this tour.

Horrific trip from hell - First of all the air conditioning wasn’t working, it was only a trickle of air. The temperature outside was approximately 40 degrees. It was unbearable and the tour should have been cancelled or another vehicle used. Secondly, the driver decided to change the departure time at Moonlit Sanctuary but only told people after everyone was off the bus. He told most people except one couple. We were on that hot bus for 45 minutes waiting for them and we couldn’t get back in the centre to wait. The couple weren’t at fault as they weren’t told. This is totally unacceptable and horrific as it was unsafe in that heat. I have only just recovered and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone again!!!!
