I didn't think the price matched what we received. To only get a small pour of one beer (that nobody on the team really enjoyed) was a big letdown. Again for the price of the event, we felt that a flight should be given at each stop so people get an opportunity to try types of beer they may already enjoy(like that brewery's IPA or Wheat). The small magnet for one person was laughable. We wouldn't do this again.

We enjoyed our time, but there were a few things that we felt could be improved. Based on the advertising, we expected this to be a combination of escape the room with beer drinking, and in reality it seemed more like a blind tasting with some light trivia. - There wasn't much buy in to the story. A lot of time was spent on assigning roles and creating a "Case" to solve, but then it had very little to do with the actual activity. It came around at the end when you need to decipher a code, but otherwise seemed superfluous. - Some of the tasks in between the three locations weren't really puzzles. Counting "hats" was something not something that seemed was within the control of Brewed Clues. Putting a max limit on the number of hats or helmets identified for points helped. - We did enjoy the trivia questions, but felt like there could be more. Having puzzles that would help answer those questions or having them tie into the theme more would be a good call. - The beer sampling, while fun to do tasting notes on, was a real crap shoot. Identifying the style, color, ABV range, and flavor profile seemed more than fair, especially since there was options to choose from. But having someone identify the city, brewery, and beer name without there being options or the beers listed at the brewery to chose from is more frustrating than rewarding. - The submission form could also have been improved. You input your score, which was a complete honor code system. Instead you could build out multiple pages, or components, where you submit your answers and then received the next clues.
