Fun show - Great show with very talented musicians. Really enjoyed their western style music. The patriotic medley they do to honor veterans is awesome Food was mostly good, though the brisket servings we got were mostly a hunk of fat.

Wonderful show and very good food - My husband and I throughly enjoyed The Great American Chuckwagon Dinner Show. The food was very good, delicious pulled pork and fork tender brisket. It was fun to sing along with the songs performed by the performers, laugh at Cookie and have the veterans recognized.

Wonderful!! - Simply very talented folks playing, singing and having fun. I loved the nice change of pace from loud , high energy shows to this small cozy theater. These folks had funny stories and old cowboy songs that ya can’t help but sing along. The young lady in the group made a lasting impact on my young granddaughter, she belted out cowboy’s sweetheart, yodeled like an ol pro and fiddled her heart out. The show was great the food was good too… don’t hesitate to see this show while your in Branson!!!

Would not do again. - Food was not great. Brisket was fatty and tough. Pulled pork was quite dry. Corn on the cob & beans were good. Entertainment was nothing to write home about. They do have a very talented young lady playing the fiddle.

Entertaining - Nice show, food was less appetizing. Beef brisket was not what I have had elsewhere and more fat than actual meat.

Musicians very good, food not so good. - Comedian and musicians very talented. Food was mostly just OK. Our 2 servings of brisket were very small and mostly fat. Picture showing supposed serving, on advertising, was very misleading.

Not rip roarin’ - The description is not accurate. There was nothing rip or roar in’ about this show. Don’t get me wrong the people in the show are talented, but the music was very sleepy time campfire type music. There were no dueling fiddles. The gun slinging was ok… not to be mean, loved Cookie’s jokes, but we’ve seen a lot of gun slinging at Knott’s Berry Farm and it just does not compare. If the description had been honest and said this was going to be a calm relaxing hour and 15 minute show I would have chosen their outdoor show that looks more high energy. This show is low energy. The guy said most of the people in the audience probably remembered growing up with Roy Rogers…. That would mean most people would be in their 70’s and 80’s. Which they weren’t so I think that tells you the age they are used to performing for. The food was mediocre. Most of our plates were untouched. The servers were not good. They came by and slopped the food on our plates. I tried smiling and saying thank you but we got looks that said “we can’t believe this is our life”. They never came back to check on us. As my friend put it we felt like we were in the opening of the musical Oliver. All this to say if you are looking for an exciting time in Branson this is not it. If you want some good entertainment that is calming and will not get you too excited, this is the place.

Not what you expect - The entertainment was great. However, the tickets are for 5pm-7pm. We arrived at 4:50pm and the doors were already closed with a sign that said show in progress. We felt lost and weren't sure where to go. We finally peeked in at 4:57pm to see that we were in the right place. Dinner had already started and the entertainment was already on the stage. Super disappointing to feel rushed. The food was okay, not terrible, but not fantastic. We asked for extra rolls at the end for my youngest, which they brought, but then the older two wanted a few as well and they were told that the couldn't have any. Then the show was scheduled until 7pm according to the tickets and what we were expecting, but the show ended at 6:15pm. Not what we paid for for sure. The wait staff was super nice and the entertainers are very talented. It is a shame to have such a great talented show, but it gets over shadowed by the other.
