Exploring the Wonders of Fritz’s Adventure in Branson
When I heard about the indoor TreeTops course at Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, I knew it was a must-visit for my family. With activities for all ages, it promised a day of fun and bonding. Here’s how our adventure unfolded.
A Day of Adventure at Fritz’s
As a family travel writer, I’m always on the lookout for activities that promise fun for the whole family. So when I heard about Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, I knew it was a must-visit. With 80,000 square feet of explorable space, including the only indoor TreeTops course in the U.S., it sounded like the perfect place for a day of family bonding.
Upon arrival, the sheer size of the place was awe-inspiring. My kids’ eyes lit up as they took in the multi-story ropes course, underground tunnels, and giant treehouses. We decided to start with the Explorer ticket, which gave us access to all the indoor activities. The kids were particularly excited about the scavenger hunt, which involved finding 14 QR codes scattered throughout the facility. It was a great way to explore every nook and cranny, and even though I was just assisting, I found myself getting caught up in the excitement of solving the clues.
Conquering the TreeTops
Next, we tackled the TreeTops course, which was the highlight of our day. With 45 obstacles, including 17 ziplines and 8 suspension bridges, it was an adrenaline rush from start to finish. My husband and I took turns accompanying the kids, as children under 16 need an adult with them. The course was challenging but incredibly rewarding, and the view from the crow’s nest was breathtaking.
For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there’s a cozy café where you can relax and watch the action unfold. But if you’re like me and can’t resist a bit of adventure, the TreeTops course is a must-do. Just remember to secure your phone, especially on the second clue of the scavenger hunt, as it can get a bit tricky!
Wrapping Up with a Prize
After a day of climbing, sliding, and exploring, we wrapped up our adventure with a visit to the gift shop. The kids were thrilled to receive a prize for completing the scavenger hunt, a perfect memento of our day at Fritz’s. As we left, I couldn’t help but think of how much fun we’d had and how many memories we’d made.
Fritz’s Adventure is more than just a play place; it’s a world of excitement and discovery for families. Whether you’re racing through the ropes course or enjoying a quiet moment in the café, there’s something for everyone. It’s a place where kids can be kids, and parents can join in the fun or simply sit back and watch their little ones explore. If you’re planning a trip to Branson, make sure to add Fritz’s Adventure to your itinerary. It’s a day of fun you won’t soon forget!
