The adventure kicks off at approximately 8:30 AM with a pickup and departure to the tranquil Povoado de Cardosa. The journey lasts about 50 minutes, leading to the serene and refreshing waters of the Rio Formiga, an ideal spot for one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences in the area.

Upon arrival, a local guide will warmly welcome you and provide assistance throughout the Boia Cross descent. As you float along the river’s gentle current, you will experience about an hour of pure tranquility, surrounded by lush vegetation, melodious birdsong, and the serene beauty of Maranhão’s countryside.

Following the flotation experience, the group will return to the same vehicle used in the morning for the journey back to Barreirinhas. The expected arrival time is around 1:00 PM, allowing you to continue your day with unforgettable memories of this refreshing and peaceful river adventure.
