The Yacht:
A 23-foot Jeanneau yacht, perfect for groups of up to four guests. It offers ample space for relaxation both above and below deck, along with storage for bags, fresh water, and toilet facilities.

We will meet at Storrs Hall reception, which is a short accessible walk to the Lake. Storrs Hall offers free parking and access to toilet facilities. We will walk to the Jetty where the boat will be moored ready for you to step onto.

Sailing on lake Windermere - We sailed today with Ian & the whole experience was so much fun! He is such a lovely bloke, so easy to talk to & so knowledgeable on the subject & local area. I was nervous but was put at ease straight away. The trip round the lake whilst actually being in control was amazing! I'm so glad we chose this interactive experience over a tour. It was so great to be hands on. Thank you so much to Ian - will be highly recommending you to everyone! We will be back!!

Brilliant fun! - This was the grandchildren first experience of sailing and they loved it. Ian was brilliant with them, allowing them to feel as if they were in complete charge of the boat and giving them real confidence in decision making.

Holiday highlight - A great experience in stunning surroundings. Ian was very calm and informative, putting us both at our ease from the outset. Thoroughly enjoyed the sailing session, it was the highlight of our mini break and would definitely recommend it.

Enjoyable Windermere Sailing Experience - We had a great afternoon sailing on Lake Windermere. Ian was a great skipper, very professional and friendly too. He made sure that our sailing trip was both enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend this as a great Lake District experience.

Excellent sailing experience. - Excellent experience, Ian gave a personal insight to sailing, very knowledgeable, we had an amazing time. Had control of the boat and was intensively guided throughput the session to something we have never done before. Private sailing recommended - Had an amazing sailing experience with Ian on the lake! The weather held out for us and Ian was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also explained the boat techniques, local events and site seeing must dos. We were lucky enough to see a double rainbow that day as well! Would highly recommend

Amazing, fun and educational - My partner booked Ian’s amazing boat as a surprise, as I’ve never tried sailing before, and it was a dream. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable but he made the experience fun, safe and pleasurable for both of us. He was also patient with my partner who hadn’t sailed for a while but was keen to get as hands on as possible. Really also helpful with some restaurant recommendations for us to go after the experience. We will be coming back to the Lakes again and book to get the boat out with Ian. Can’t recommend this experience enough, thank you Ian!

Windermere sailing experience - Fantastic experience skippering the boat, was lucky with weather day before which was torrential rain, Would thoroughly recommend this to all. Ian was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty information on the lake and surrounding areas. We would definitely do this again on our next visit.
