- Bourton-on-the-Water - Bourton-on-the-Water is a charming Cotswold village featuring delightful stone bridges over the pristine river Windrush. There’s something for everyone here – unique, independent gift shops, charming riverside tea rooms, the Motoring and Toy Museum, the Model Village; or simply enjoy a leisurely walk along the river and watch the ducks. And don’t miss out on the best ice cream in the Cotswolds!
- Lower Slaughter - A visit to Lower Slaughter is unforgettable, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this stunning village truly exemplifies that. Words can’t do it justice – you must visit Lower Slaughter to experience it firsthand. Strolling along the banks of the little river Eye and admiring the exquisite riverside cottages is a truly special experience.
- Compton Abdale - Enjoy a spectacular drive through a magnificent, unspoiled valley with delightful surprises along the way, including a stop at our secret location – a beautiful village that certainly fulfills our promise to take you off the beaten path.
- Yanworth - A brief stop at this very small but extraordinary village with a rare example of an unspoiled 12th-century church. A true hidden gem of the Cotswolds.
- Ablington - A scenic drive through a picturesque, intimate valley dotted with secluded stone villages.
- Bibury - Bibury was once described as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’ and is home to the world-famous Arlington Row cottages. So picturesque and quintessentially Cotswolds that Henry Ford attempted to purchase the entire village and relocate it to his estate in Michigan. Fortunately, he did not succeed, and Arlington Row is now likely the most photographed street in all of England, with a fascinating history to match – what more could you ask for?
- Wyck Rissington - Another stunning scenic drive passing through more quintessential Cotswolds villages.
- Minster Lovell - Minster Lovell is another hidden gem worth sharing. A last-minute addition when our tour planner’s curiosity got the better of him, and we’re so glad it did, as it proves the Cotswolds can still surprise us! He discovered a lovely street of picturesque, thatched cottages leading to the enigmatic ruins of the 15th-century Minster Lovell Hall, rumored to be haunted by a young bride who vanished on her wedding day. After exploring this intriguing place, why not conclude your amazing day in the Cotswolds with a drink at the Old Swan, a cozy, 15th-century, traditional country inn.
