Meet at 8:00 a.m. with the driver at the Marrakech riad or hotel for a shared minibus journey. Depart from Marrakech to Dades Valley, passing through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. Travel from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, visiting the renowned Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Enjoy the scenic route, stunning landscapes with varied colors, and Berber villages along the way. There will be free time to explore the old Kasbah of Ouarzazate, “Taourirt Kasbah,” and have lunch. Continue southeast to the lush Dades Valley and the city of roses via the captivating Skoura palmery. Overnight stay in Dades Valley at a hotel with dinner, such as Kasbah Didis or a similar category hotel.

DAY 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, depart from the hotel in Dades Valley at 8 a.m., traveling along the road of 1000 kasbahs through the vibrant Berber villages of the Dades Valley. After 45 km, reach Tinghir with its beautiful palm grove and Jewish quarter. Continue to Todra Gorges (Todgha), with free time to trek along the 300m high canyons, a popular spot for rock climbers. Then, head to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara Desert, stopping for lunch en route before arriving in Erfoud. Proceed to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, venturing deeper into the desert landscape until the dunes emerge. Spend the night in a luxury camp in Merzouga, enjoying a camel ride, sandboarding, sunset, and dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga – Merzouga

Awake before sunrise to witness the first rays over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by breakfast in camp, a shower, and a camel trek to the hotel. Begin a trip at 10:30 a.m. in a private 4WD vehicle to visit nomads behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, enjoying tea under nomad tents and exploring their lifestyle. Experience a brief rally over sand dunes, then drive to the Mifis mountains for mineral extraction activities. Visit Khamlia village, home to black people playing Gnawa music, an African rhythm. After enjoying the music, proceed to a restaurant for lunch with Berber pizza. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast included, at Dar Morocco or a similar establishment.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

On the final day, depart from Merzouga Desert in the morning after breakfast. After a 6-hour drive, visit Ouarzazate’s famous film studio, known as Africa’s Hollywood. Finally, take the Tizi n’Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech, with a lunch stop in the mountains.

Embark on a 4-day journey from Marrakech to Marrakech, passing through the Merzouga desert.

Travel through Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges, Ouarzazate, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Erg Chebbi Desert, and Merzouga Dunes. Enjoy a camel ride, witness stunning sunsets and sunrises, and try sandboarding. The tour departs at 8:00 AM from Marrakech and concludes in the afternoon of the fourth day at your hotel or riad.

This shared tour is conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus with fuel included. The driver-guide is proficient in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and several other languages.

Explore numerous attractions over the 4 days in southern Morocco. Accommodations include two hotels and a luxury camp, with tents featuring private bathrooms.
