Chobe National Park - The journey begins with a transfer from your hotel in Victoria Falls to Kasane, Botswana. This transfer, including the border crossing, takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Kasane is the gateway to the renowned Chobe National Park. Located in northern Botswana near the expansive Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo that gather along the Chobe Riverfront during the dry season. Lions, antelopes, and hippos can be found in the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh. The floodplains of the Savuti Marsh attract a variety of bird species and migrating zebras.
Chobe National Park - The highlight of the day is the afternoon boat cruise on the majestic Chobe River. At 14:30, we depart from the lodge in a 4x4 open-sided vehicle and board the boat at 15:00. There’s no better way to observe the wildlife up close than from a boat, as we sail and enjoy the stunning scenery. During this time, animals gather at the river for a drink, providing a fantastic opportunity to see many animals along the riverbanks. The boat cruise lasts for 3 hours as we sail upstream and return to dock just before dusk, around 18:00.
Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park - Today features two game drives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We begin our drive early in the morning, around 06:00, and continue until approximately 09:00. Tea and coffee will be served in the heart of the wilderness, with a full breakfast provided around 09:30 after the morning game drive. The early morning and late afternoon are when the African bush is most active. Nocturnal animals retreat to their daytime hiding spots, leopards make their final rounds, hyena cubs play outside their den, and lions finish their nighttime hunt. Diurnal animals emerge from their sleeping places, bask in the sun, groom themselves or each other, and begin foraging. The afternoon safari runs from 15:00 to 18:00.
Nata- Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
Maun Town
Okavango Delta - After breakfast at 08:00, we embark on a 4-hour drive to Maun, passing through Makgadikgadi National Park and observing more wildlife. We arrive in Maun in time for lunch. We reach our hotel in the afternoon with enough time to participate in an optional activity, such as a flight over the Okavango Delta, costing approximately USD 150 per person with a minimum of 5 participants.
Okavango Delta- Bush Overnight Experience
Okavango Delta - After an early breakfast, we depart the hotel for a 2-day, 1-night safari in the Okavango Delta. We transfer to the Okavango River in a 4x4 open-sided vehicle, enjoying the landscape and scenery. At the river, we meet our polers, local guides who will take us to the island where we will camp in a mokoro (dugout canoe). This silent mode of transport takes us through beautiful channels, allowing us to view hippos and other wildlife. Upon arrival at the island, we set up camp and relax by the river, enjoying the birds and stunning views. Around 16:00, we take a 2-hour walk with our professional local guide before returning for dinner and an overnight stay. We spend the night in movable tents and use makeshift bush ablutions.
Maun Town
Maun - Enjoy a cup of coffee with rusks this morning before embarking on a morning walk. After the walk, we have a full breakfast. We then pack up our tents and board the mokoro for another 1 hour and 30 minutes to meet our 4x4 vehicle, which will take us back to Maun town. Our safari concludes after lunch.
The tour ends upon arrival in Maun.
